While Robert Pattinson currently has a stable relationship with his longtime love Elizabeth Taylor, it seems that his ex-girlfriend Zoë Kravitz never truly accepted his relationship with Taylor. Now, four years after their breakup, the ‘Twilight’ star is showing his support for Taylor and celebrating her 75th birthday with big party favors.
The 35-year-old actress recently opened up about her former flame in a new interview, saying she thinks about him all the time and misses his company. “Every day,” Kravitz said in an interview with the New York Times. “I think about him, I dream about him, I wish I could be with him. I miss his company, I miss his conversation, I miss being in love with him.”
While she has always been supportive of her ex-boyfriend, Kravitz explained that she couldn’t fully accept Taylor’s relationship with Perez. “It was hard. I was young and stupid and thought that maybe he didn’t love me as much as I loved him. But then I realized that he still loved me and that he just didn’t want to be in a relationship with me.”
Although Taylor is now happily married to Perez, the ‘Grey’ actress was not fully supportive of Kravitz when she was dating the ‘Kingsman’ star. In fact, TMZ reports that when Kravitz broke up with Robert Pattinson, she received a call from her then-boyfriend’s ex-wife, explaining that she hoped Kravitz would fail. “It’s sad to admit that, but she’s still going to go through a hard time. I just want to see her fail. I think it’ll do her good. I think it’ll be good for both of them,” Taylor’s former partner said at the time.
After their separation, reports circulated that Kravitz was seeking therapy because she couldn’t process her grief. She has since gone on to marry music producer Bryan Michael Dunn in 2017, and the couple welcomed a daughter into the world in October 2018.
