Commissioner Gordon asked Barbara to run the investigation into Mayor Bach’s administration. Barbara’s journalistic investigations helped expose many of Mayor Bach’s corrupt activities. As a result, Bach was removed from office, and Barbara, now a journalist in her own right, became the commissioner’s wife.
Robert Pattinson
Rising from Hollywood obscurity, Twilight starRobert Pattinson is quickly becoming known for his romantic leads in films like Great Britain and Bird Box. The actor’s life seems to be one long series of romantic comedies with an edgy streak mixed in. After the release of Bird Box, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kate Winslet, many have asked whether or not the pair are an item. It seems that Pattinson has found his niche as a romantic lead, and fans want to know more about his personal life.
Pattinson has mostly kept quiet about his personal life, but did reveal that he considers his character Edward Cullen to be his best friend. The actor also spoke openly about his experience shooting Twilight; he described the experience as “surreal.” In early 2019, fans found out through an Instagram post that Pattinson had settled down in London with a woman named FKA Twigs. The post featured a photograph of the couple cuddled up on a couch with Twigs’ son Nahush laid in between them. The couple seem to be quite the fashionable match, and Londoners embraced them both.

Rumors of Robert Pattinson and Kate Winslet’s affair started swirling after the pair were photographed together at the Dorchester Hotel in London on New Year’s Eve, 2018. In the photograph, the two are seen lying in a bed wearing only their underwear and surrounded by books and flowers. The romance between these two Hollywood heavyweights was confirmed when the pair were spotted together in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh months later.
The affair was apparently sparked by their meeting at a popular London bar. A mutual friend introduced them after their eyes locked the first time they laid eyes on each other at the St. Barts International Film Festival in October 2018. Over the next few weeks, the pair were photographed together at film festivals in Europe and North America. It wasn’t until October 2019 that they finally confirmed their relationship. The couple’s decision to keep their union a secret was most likely due to the intense media scrutiny and public admiration that comes with their storied careers. They also wanted to keep their son, Nahush, from becoming attached to the limelight.
Off-Screen Drama
While the majority of actors’ lives are probably rather dull, there is still plenty of drama that goes on outside of the screen. Robert Pattinson is no stranger to drama. He began his acting career portraying the tragic figure of Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga. His performance as Edward inspired fans and launched his acting career. In 2019, Pattinson portrayed real-life English serial killer and necrophile John Christie in the Netflix limited series, The British.
In addition to his work in movies, television, and music, Robert Pattinson also has a passion for painting. The actor has taken up painting as a way to unwind and relax since completing his MSC Fine Art degree at the Royal College of Art. In July 2019, he launched his own limited edition line of paint, titled After Dark. The collection includes a chocolate brown, a taupe, and a gray. Perhaps one of these subdued hues will be the actor’s next romantic comedy adventure.
