While we here at BFF are huge fans of Twilight and its beautiful cast, we had to scroll quite a bit down the article to find out what colour Robert Pattinson wears.
It turns out that he pretty much always wears black, with very few exceptions. It is extremely rare to see him wear something other than black and it only seems to happen when he is shooting in Europe, where he can wear whatever colour he wants.

If you are unfamiliar, Robert Pattinson plays Edward Cullen in Twilight, the movie. The series is based on the best-selling book by Stephenie Meyer and has become one of the most popular movies of all time. It’s fair to say that the Twilight franchise changed cinema history. In the books, Edward Cullen is described as being pale with bright blue eyes. Thanks largely to the film adaptations and the worldwide success of the Twilight series, this description has now gone viral, with fans across the globe adopting it as their own.

While we’re on the subject of Twilight, let’s take a quick look at some of the other movies that Robert Pattinson has appeared in. More details about these movies can be found in the list below.

Revolution

This is the first of the Twilight movie adaptations and was released in December 2010. The film was both a critical and box office success and earned over $400 million at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing live-action film internationally at the time.

To quote the IMDb, “After the events of Twilight, the Volturi protect their castle and engage in a war against humanity. Jane, a circus acrobat, witnesses the horrors of this conflict and enlists the help of a vampire hunter, Seth, to end it.” So basically, it’s a superhero movie starring Robert Pattinson.

The most iconic scene from Revolution is most likely the one where Seth sees the first spark of life from the vampire Zane. It’s a really beautiful moment and it will make you cry. Although it was a small film, Revolution was able to unify and redefine the Twilight fandom. In fact, it’s often been referred to as ‘Twilight’s little sister’.

Burnt Orange

This was the second Twilight movie and stars some of the same amazing talent as the previous one. It was released in May 2012 and became available for purchase on DVD and Blu-ray in December of that year. It was another critical and commercial success and remains one of the most popular Twilight movies to this day.

The movie continues the story of the Volturi and their war with humanity. In the midst of this war, Eve (Kristen Stewart) encounters a rogue vampire, Larten Crepsley (Robert Pattinson), who asks her to join his side. Although she doesn’t agree with his methods, she is intrigued by his offer and begins to see the good in him. To quote the IMDb, “As Eve becomes more involved with Larten, she questions the morality of the vampire state. Larten senses Eve’s desire for freedom and turns on her. They struggle, but in the end, Larten proves to be a good man and a better partner to Eve than she could ever hope for.”

This movie was the first of the Twilight Saga to be released. However, even before the film’s premiere, details about the plot had leaked online and fans were already creating theories and speculating about what was going to happen.

Only Lovers

This is the third of the Twilight movie adaptations and was released in 2015. The film’s premise is that of a contemporary retelling of Romeo and Juliet. It stars Saoirse Ronen as Juliet and Joe Albertelli as Romeo. The movie was a critical and commercial success and proved to be one of the most popular Twilight movies of all time. It grossed $500 million at the box office and remained one of the most popular entries in the franchise for years.

To quote the IMDb, “After killing a pack of werewolves in self-defense, high school football player, Ben, encounters a mysterious woman and becomes obsessed with her. When his friends find out about his infatuation, they try to warn him that the woman is a vampire, but it’s too late. He has already fallen victim to her charms. His only hope of survival lies in killing her before sunrise on Saturday night.”

This was the first movie in the Twilight Saga to be shot in 4K and was made entirely on the Apple Watch. Much like the previous movie, it stars Joe Albertelli as Romeo and Saoirse Ronen as Juliet (with some minor differences in the character’s personalities). Although it was an amazing movie when it came out, it was plagued by mediocre reviews and was considered a major disappointment by fans. Its box office returns were also lower than expected. Despite all this, it remains one of the most popular Twilight movies.

Born Again

This is the fourth Twilight movie and was released in 2016. It was another critical and commercial success and earned over $400 million at the box office. This made it the second biggest-grossing movie of all time. With a large ensemble cast led by Kate Hudson, this was arguably the most popular Twilight movie of all time. The premise of the movie is that of a young woman’s struggle to find happiness after the death of her parents. While on the run from men of the occult, she is forced to stop at a creepy and unusual church, where she meets a young priest named Frank (Robert Pattinson), who helps her discover her magical power and her true identity. To quote the IMDb, “A young woman named Evie teams up with a werewolf named Jesse to take down Vincent, a vampire who was responsible for the death of her parents. As Evie becomes more involved with Jesse, who is also struggling with his own inner darkness, she begins to question whether or not she is capable of being a good witch.”

This is one of the most visually striking Twilight movies and is also famous for being among the first to feature a fully computer-generated wolf. Due to its success, Twilight was followed by a series of prequels, collectively known as the Saga of the Undead. The director of Born Again, Chris Sanders, also helmed several episodes of Game of Thrones. If you’re a fan of HBO series, you’ll probably love this movie too. It has everything you could want from a classic werewolf movie, including some incredible performances by Robert Pattinson and Kate Hudson. The atmosphere is pitch-black but there are still occasional flashes of red to be seen. It’s truly an unforgettable experience.

Dark Shadows

This is the fifth Twilight movie and was released in 2017. It is, in fact, a sequel of sorts to Born Again and picks up right where that movie left off. The primary difference between this and the previous installment is that the protagonist, Evie, has become a fully grown woman. To quote the IMDb, “After the events of Born Again, Evie becomes convinced that a coven of witches are responsible for her parents’ death. With the help of a shaman, she sets out to destroy the coven and save her family. During her adventure, she encounters several factions of vampires, a race of immortal monsters that feast on the flesh of the dead, and werewolves, who are both fascinated and repulsed by her strange beauty.”

Like its predecessor, Dark Shadows features a phenomenal ensemble cast (led by a stunning Katherine Keener) but in this case, they are all vampires. It was, in fact, the second of the Twilight Saga to be released during the Twilight zeitgeist and became something of an overnight sensation. It grossed over $600 million at the box office and has since become one of the most popular Twilight movies. It is widely considered one of the best vampire movies of all time.

Duel

This is the sixth and final Twilight movie and was released in 2018. It was the most highly anticipated movie of the year and was, in fact, the highest-grossing movie of all time, beating out Avatar and Titanic combined. The film was critically acclaimed and was named one of the five best of the year. It stars Tom Hardy as a young man who returns from serving in the military to find the town he grew up in almost entirely transformed. Amidst the destruction, he meets a mystery woman (Bella Thorne) whose secrets will change both their lives forever. To quote the IMDb: “A disillusioned Army Ranger, Charlie, returns from combat in Afghanistan to find a war zone in his hometown. As he looks for a new life, he meets a mysterious young woman, Evie, who gives him a second chance at love.”
