The residence’s interiors were carried out by the famous French fashion house Pierre-Georges Leroy. The interior designer worked with the director on the adaptation of the romance novel “The Chosen One” and also collaborated with him on the set of the recently released “Twilight” installment, “Eclipse.” The French fashion house gave the mansion a magical, celestial feel and filled it with beautiful pieces inspired by the story’s setting: the night’s sky and the sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea. Richemont, the Swiss company that owns the famous Swiss luxury watch brand, decided to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their Campana collection with a custom-made sculpture of a gong. The campana is the unofficial national symbol of Switzerland and is used to celebrate victories in both sports and in warfare. The company commissioned the artwork, which is 24 feet high, 7 feet wide, and 11 tonne, from the Italian car company Artega. According to Gizmodo, the Campana sculpture will be on public display in the company’s headquarters for the next ten years. The luxury Swiss watch brand has also created a special edition of the gong, which will be given to buyers of the ten-year model. It seems like a nice way to celebrate a special occasion!
