I recently had the chance to work with Vanity Fair on a photoshoot featuring the beautiful actor Robert Pattinson. It was such an honor to get the chance to work with the talented Mr. Pattinson and the brilliant Vanity Fair team. The end result was a dream come true! I had so much fun working with such an incredible talent. And I think you will agree that Robert Pattinson did not disappoint.
The Best Pictures
When it comes to photography, there are so many variables that one has to factor in to get a quality end product. First and foremost, the photographer has to be skilled in both their technical and creative sides. Vanity Fair has been around for over 150 years and has honed their trade to the point where they can get quality shots regardless of the situation. Their team of photographers was on hand to capture every moment on camera and were able to produce some truly spectacular results. It was an absolute pleasure to work with such experienced professionals.
The Worst Pictures
While the above pictures were all very well done and Mr. Pattinson looked incredible, it’s important to remember that they were not all successful. We have compiled a list of the photos that didn’t quite work out as well as we’d have liked and which, therefore, you may not want to keep in your collection.
The Good
Let’s start with the good, shall we? First and foremost, we want to say how grateful we are to Vanity Fair for giving me the opportunity to work with Robert Pattinson. It’s an honor and a privilege to get to know this amazing talent so well and to be able to photograph him. What I liked most about this shoot is that it was a real honor to be able to work with such a high profile celebrity, who was so welcoming and kind to me and my team. It was an incredible experience to work on such a historic magazine with a fantastic team and I’d like to thank Mr. Pattinson for giving us the opportunity.
The Bad
Now, let’s move on to the “bad”… First, I have to say that there were a few unfortunate incidents that happened due to faulty planning on my part. One thing that Mr. Pattinson’s team were kind enough to point out to me was that my lighting did not match up with his hair and makeup style for several of the shots. This is something that I will take into account for my next shoot with him. Another thing was the location of this shoot. As a photographer, one thing that I look out for is the location of a shoot. There were so many paparazzi and reporters around that it was hard for us to have a “normal” interaction. Even now, when I look at the pictures, I can’t help but think about all the negative press that surrounded them.
The Not So Good
Finally, let’s not forget about the “not so good”… The lighting in this case was horrible and did not match the style of the shoot at all. It was also quite humid and the atmosphere was not conducive to creating great-looking photos. These are all things that could have been avoided with a bit of forethought and planning. But, despite those few hiccups, I think that we achieved a fantastic end result. I would not change a thing about this shoot and I’m so thankful to Vanity Fair for giving us the opportunity to work on such a prestigious magazine.
