Robert Pattinson is the latest actor to steal our hearts. The British actor rose to fame as the gorgeous and enigmatic Mr. Pattinson in the Twilight films, but we’ve always known him for his acting talent and dry sense of humor. Now that he’s free from blockbuster movies and the paparazzi, we’ve got a chance to get to know the real Robert Pattinson. Here’s the lowdown on our dream cast of supporting characters.

Sister Wives’ Kody Brown

We can start with the most famous member of the Sister Wives’ clan, Kody Brown. The reality TV star and her four wives will become the first transgender couple to appear on television when they star in their own reality show, Sister Wives. This makes Kody’s character, Robyn, an interesting study in contrasts. She’s a gorgeous California girl who rejects society’s values and chooses a traditional route with her four daughters, but it’s clear that she’s still holding on to her femininity. We can’t wait to see what she’ll be wearing on her arm in the upcoming season.

Mad Men’s Jon Hamm

Mad Men is one of the most acclaimed dramas of all time. It chronicles the early years of the advertising industry in New York City, and it features an amazing supporting cast, led by Jon Hamm. We’ve always had a soft spot for this sophisticated and charismatic Don Draper, and it would be no surprise if we were to fall for Jon Hamm’s portrayal of the iconic advertising agent. It’s clear that Hamm will continue to captivate audiences with his portrayal of this fascinating and complicated character. It’s interesting to contrast Mad Men with the lighthearted and romantic comedy series The Handmaid’s Tale, which centers around a similar topic; both shows will be airing on the same network in the near future.

The Handmaid’s Tale’s Samira Wiley

The Handmaid’s Tale is an incredible series that follows the adventures of Offred, a handmaid in service to the queen in the Republic of Georgia. At first glance, we might not realize that Offred is a strong character because of her subservient role in the series, but she’s actually an amazing protagonist, and she speaks for all women when she says, “I will suck it dry. I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine.” We’ve always been fascinated by this captivating and independent-minded character, whose fierce spirit continues to stir us as she serves her goddess in a remote part of the country.

Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss

The middle member of the Mad Men family tree is none other than Elisabeth Moss. This television drama series is responsible for introducing the world to a more realistic and humanized version of the Mad Men character. It’s clear that the show’s creators wanted to humanize these iconic characters and show us that they’re not as cold-blooded and unemotional as we’ve been led to believe. We get an insight into the complicated emotional lives of the men and women of the advertising industry through Elisabeth Moss’ portrayal of Peggy Olson. She’s a hard-working and driven advertising professional who’s finding her way in the world and struggling to understand her place in it. We’re rooting for her.

Downton Abbey’s Sarah Paulson

Downton Abbey is one of the longest-running and most popular period dramas. Set in the wealthy and influential Crawley family’s home, Downton Abbey focuses on the lives of the servants who help to bring the family’s grand scheme to life. It’s one of the first series to air in the States, and it quickly became one of our favorite shows. This is a period piece about English life in the early 20th century, and it features everything from vintage dresses and elaborate parties to courtly dances and cricket. So if you’re looking for a period drama with an interesting and colorful supporting cast, then look no further. We’re constantly reminded of our own country’s colonial past as the rich and powerful treat the poor and oppressed with equality and justice. This is the England we want to see.

Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard

Stranger Things is one of the most mysterious and original series that Netflix has ever produced. It stars Finn Wolfhard as a teenage Will Byers, and it follows his life during one summer in 1980. It’s impossible to describe Stranger Things without referencing Stephen King, who has said that it is “a mixture of It and The X-Files” and was “strangely thrilling and beautiful.” The series is both terrifying and hauntingly captivating, and it will keep you guessing its intentions and characters. Finn Wolfhard is an incredible talent who deserves to be recognized for his work. We can’t wait to see what happens next.

Black-ish’s Tricky Stewart

Black-ish is one of the most innovative sitcoms on television today. It’s a loving and thoughtful look at the funny and complicated relationships between the black community and white people. We love the unique perspective the show brings to this topic, and it gives us a fresh take on familiar issues. One of the most unforgettable and complex characters on television, Rainbow Johnson, is played by Tracee Ellis Ross, and she never ceases to amaze us with her versatility. Even characters who should be one-dimensional (like Aunt Viv) end up surprising us with their depth. We can’t choose just one member of this supporting cast; they’re all incredible.

Bob’s Burgers’ Linda Belfer

This year has been a banner one for animated shows. Besides Disney+, which we’ll discuss below, audiences can also look forward to new seasons of Bojack Horseman and Rick and Morty, as well as the revival of Futurama. One of the most interesting and unique shows to come out of this year is Bob’s Burgers. This is a show that manages to be both funny and sweet, with a mix of live action and animation that keeps the audience wondering what will happen next. One of our favorite characters is Linda Belfer (voiced by Hedy Burress), the quintessential blonde bombshell, who often clashes with her husband, Bob (voiced by John Cena). We can’t help but appreciate Belfer’s independence, wit, and wisdom.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Margo Martindale

Another series that managed to stand out amongst this year’s crop of comedy series is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Created by and starring Lily Tomlin, the series follows the adventures of Izzy Goldfarb (played by Tomlin), an upscale Manhattan housewife who reluctantly returns home to take care of her ailing mother. Despite her status as a respected lawyer, Mrs. Goldfarb finds herself struggling to cope with her usual high-stress lifestyle in the face of parenthood and a rapidly increasing workload. It’s an incredible story that focuses on middle-class life in the 1950s, and it explores the trials and tribulations that await a busy and harried working mother. Margo Martindale is one of the most admired and accomplished actresses working today. She can play many different characters with ease, and she’s never seen butting heads with an authority figure. We can’t wait to see what she does next.

Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez

Jane the Virgin is a smart and exciting series about Jane (Gina Rodriguez), a recently-divorced 30-something year old who decides to try and have a baby on her own. This series explores the joys and challenges of being a new parent, and it does so with a lot of heart and humor. Gina Rodriguez is an amazing actress who has a wealth of experience, having played a lead role in the box-office juggernaut, Spider-Man: Homecoming, as well as the upcoming Baby Cobra. We can’t wait to see what she does with Jane the Virgin.
