The pair were first spotted holding hands and cuddling in a romantic embrace while on the set of the blockbuster saga in August 2012. Their co-star, Bella Swan, later shared a passionate kiss with Pattinson at the premiere of Eclipse in Los Angeles. A source explained to People that the intimate scene was “just for fun” and that they had no idea the cameras were even rolling.
While their romance was certainly steamy, it wasn’t until the following month that rumors began to surface about Taylor and Robert. The singer has been open about her love for dancing and spends a lot of her down time practicing. In fact, over the last few years, she has become known for her extreme workout regime. A source told Hollywood Life that Taylor, who trains with David Guetta’s dance team, has “become one of the best dancers in Hollywood.” They added that she has “completely changed how people see her and the type of songs she writes.”
Taylor has yet to comment on the rumors surrounding her and Robert, and it’s unclear whether or not their affair will become public knowledge. However, it seems like the pair’s time together on set was just a warm-up for what’s to come. A month after the premiere of Eclipse, they were spotted holding hands while on the red carpet at the 2014 Met Gala in New York City. It was previously rumored that the two would be following the footsteps of Harry Potter and Kiki Von Neumann and tying the knot in a private ceremony this year.
