Robbie Pattinson is the complete package. Not only does he have the most infectious laugh in Hollywood, but he also has a very unique brand of humour. On top of that, he’s one of the most charming and lovable guys around. Not to mention that he’s very talented and has a lot of charisma. It would be a rare Hollywood film indeed if he doesn’t find a way to make a lasting impression. Whether he’s playing a vampire or a guitar-wielding rock star, he will always be able to find the charm in any situation.
A Charmed Life
Robbie was born in London, England. He started acting at a very early age and landed major roles in several commercials and short films. After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 19, his career really took off. He’s been acting ever since, with his big break coming when he was cast as the British aristocrat, Sebastian Montague in the BBC series, Vanity Fair. He instantly became a fan-favorite for his portrayal of the witty, yet sinister Sebastian. Since then, he’s amassed a large following and has starred in several high-profile films, like The Twilight Saga and David Fisher King, as well as The Lighthouse, a horror film he co-stars in with Elle MacLeman. Besides acting, he also has a modeling career and frequently lends his face for various brands’ advertisements.
An Adventurous Lifestyle
Though he’s been very careful with his personal life, Robbie has always been very much into risk-taking. Not only does he regularly travel the world, visiting landmarks like the Great Wall of China and the Colosseum, with his frequent trips to Italy, but he also does a lot of fun activities, like skydiving and scuba diving. He even has a pet shark that he keeps as a pet. While many might consider that a risky obsession, Robbie’s fans probably consider it an adventurous lifestyle that they want to live vicariously through him. And they’re probably right.
A Unique Sense of Humour
Besides being an incredibly likeable person, Robbie is also very funny. He has a very dry sense of humour and often teases his friends and fellow actors with quirky one-liners. You’ll often find him breaking character and cracking jokes during a scene, even when he’s playing a serious character. Whether he’s playing a vampire or a guitar-wielding rock star, he will always be able to find the funny in any situation.
A Love For Art
Besides having a fantastic sense of humour, Robbie is also very creative. Back in 2005, he worked with legendary designer, Dolce & Gabbana, on a collection of sunglasses. He collaborated with the designer on the artwork and wrote the copy for the collection. A few years later, he worked with Japanese designer, Comme des Garçons, on a capsule collection of t-shirts and sweatshirts. He also designed the artwork for these products and helped write the captions for them. Most recently, he partnered with French footwear designer, Jean-Claude WESTON, on a collection of shoes inspired by Salvador Dali. The shoes are named after Dali’s famous surrealist paintings, and feature the artist’s signature colors: yellow, blue, and green. The collection was inspired by Dali’s unique blend of styles: futurism, realism and abstraction. It was the perfect way to conclude their collaboration as both designers had different personal takes on the styles, but still honoured the original work of the other.
A Global Appeal
Though Robbie often teams up with a lot of famous faces in the movies he’s in, he has a very wide fanbase across the world. He’s managed to carve out a very special place in the hearts of his fans, which transcends language and cultural barriers. It is well-deserved given his charm and talent. Even when he’s not in a movie, he still manages to amaze with his stories from around the world and his adventures. It would be fair to say that anyone who meets Robbie, instantly falls in love with him. Whether they’re an actor, model, or just anyone who enjoys a good story, they will have one with Robbie. After all, he does give the best hugs.
