Robert Pattinson’s next movie will be one to keep an eye on. It will be the first release of his Netflix series, Wonders. The highly anticipated film will arrive in theaters on May 30, 2022.

The story of Wonders will be set in the imaginary city of Wonderland. The movie will be a combination of live-action and CGI. The trailer was initially shared exclusively with Binge viewers but has since been released to the public. Check it out below.

The City of Wonderland

The trailer opens with a beautiful aerial shot of New York City. The camera then descends to the streets below, showing a city that appears to be made entirely of wonder. Lights are coming on as people walk and drive by. It’s a beautiful shot, and it sets the mood for the entire film.

The image of Wonderland is both intriguing and eerily familiar. It resembles an exact replica of Manhattan. With its double-decker restaurants, bustling streets, and skyscrapers, it’s hard not to be reminded of New York when viewing this movie. And, if you’re a fan of Lord of the Rings, it almost feels like you’ve been transported back in time to Middle Earth. The city is overflowing with life and color, and it somehow feels right at home in the world of J.R.R. Tolkien. If you have an open mind and a sense of adventure, then you’ll enjoy the fantasy world of Wonderland. It’s filled with strange creatures and magical lands that call to mind the sights and sounds of the legendary Lord of the Rings.

A Whole Movie About Love

Believe it or not, the trailer for Wonders actually begins with a montage of shots of love. The movie will revolve around three main characters; a divorced dad (Pattinson), an aspiring singer (played by Emilia Clarke), and an actress (Nicole Kidman). The lyrics of a song that plays during this scene read, “Do you want to be famous/Do you want to be rich/Do you want to make the world turn around?”

This romance sub-plot will be woven throughout the entire movie. It begins with a quirky but endearing love story between the divorced father and the aspiring singer. They meet while filming a commercial, and their first encounter is rather strange. Even after the commercial shoot, they continue to meet for coffee and breakfast. The father finally decides to follow his heart and proposes to the singer. She accepts, and the movie then turns into a love story.

But, despite the light tone of the trailer, the romance in Wonders is anything but sweet. Kidman is best known for her role as a domineering mother in The Lord of the Rings, and she brings that same intensity to her performance as a demanding woman who expects her husband to obey her every command. But, although she can be controlling and bossy, she also has a kind side that she shows when she’s around her loved ones. It’s a contradiction that makes Kidman surprisingly endearing. As she says at one point in the film, “You either love me or you hate me. There’s no in between.”

The Creatures Of Wonderland

What is Wonders without the creatures of Wonderland? The city is overflowing with fantastic creatures, and the trailer doesn’t do them justice. A huge emphasis will be placed on the amazing costumes, and it seems that the team behind the movie had access to some pretty cool outfits. For example, one scene features a creature who is half-human, half-beast, with tiger paws, a mane, and fangs. It’s a wonderful mix that is both fierce and beautiful. Of course, the giant rabbit with the tiny little people inside will also make an appearance. And, as mentioned by the trailer’s director, the famous London Zoo will be seen in the movie. It seems that, for a limited time, visitors to the zoo can take a ride on the back of a giant rabbit. So, if you ever wanted to visit London, then this is your chance. But, if you’d rather stay back in New York, then maybe watch the trailer a second time so that you don’t miss a minute of the action. It’s an amazing visual feast that you don’t want to miss!

The Setting

If you’ve ever watched any of Pattinson’s other movies, then you know that he typically likes to set his comedies and action films in the future. This is especially true of Wonders. It will be set in 2022, and it features a whole lot of cool gadgets and amazing technologies that made an appearance in the trailer. It wouldn’t be a surprise if some of these futuristic devices ended up in your own home. It would be kind of cool if they did. After all, it’s what teenagers want these days. More and more, young people are demanding unique, custom-made devices that allow them to be constantly connected to the world. At least, that’s what NPD group in Europe has found. According to their 2021 Tech Trends Report, consumers across the region have a growing tolerance for technology, and they want high-quality, standalone devices that enable them to fully engage with content.

Pattinson could not be more passionate about this subject, so it will be interesting to see how he manages to weave this line of thinking into a full-length movie. It will be a great advertisement for the future of technology and what it can do for our day-to-day lives. And, although the trailer is visually stunning, it can also create a certain level of fear in the hearts of its audiences. Who knows what new health problems these nanobots will create. Perhaps they’ll even become part of our DNA. Who knows? But, for now, they’re just a fascinating experiment. And who knows? Maybe they’ll end up saving our lives. Who knows?

What Will It Be Like To See The Movie?

It is somewhat difficult to put into words how different seeing Wonders will be from any other film you’ve likely seen. The trailer is filled with action sequences and bright, colorful worlds that are both breathtakingly beautiful and bizarrely funny. The technical wizardry is also incredible, and it doesn’t hurt that the cinematography was done by none other than the incredible Jonas Åkerlund. In fact, the movie itself was shot using entirely digital tools, and it was color graded in post-production. So, if you’ve been wanting to get into the world of film, then this is your chance. But, if you’re looking for a laugh, then you might want to stay away. It’s not often that you will see a film that is this funny.

It’s been said that comedy is one of the most difficult genres to convey in film. The trailer for Wonders proves this theory, as many of its jokes fall flat. But this is also part of the charm. The film is an exercise in imagination and, at times, pure fantasy. The monsters and creatures are strange enough that you won’t feel too much pain as the jokes fall flat. It’s kind of like how The Office began; only instead of paper products, we’re dealing with fake creatures, and instead of cubicles, there are monster pits.

Despite the comedic moments though, Wonders is a love story at heart. The trailer reveals that Kidman’s character wants to protect her home, the city of Wonderland, from human intruders. It’s a noble goal, and one that will definitely make you root for her. There will be lots of drama, as you’d expect from a story about a family, but the trailer never hints at the darker undercurrents. Ultimately, you’ll find yourself on the side of good, as Kidman’s character stops at nothing to keep her city safe.
