On January 21st 2019, while out on a walk with her dog, Twigs spotted a bouquet of red roses in front of her home. According to People, the actress was “floored” when she found the perfect engagement ring. The couple then walked back to her home, where they filmed the special moment.
What happened next? Well, after the proposal, things seem to have changed for the better. According to People, the couple spent their first night as husband and wife by sharing a glass of wine and a romantic meal. Since then, they’ve been spotted out together at a number of events, including the 2019 Golden Globes. Even more exciting, according to the site, the actor/singer tweeted about the engagement, writing, “I have proposed to @fkatwigs and she has accepted”.
Although this is good news for fans of the couple, it’s still not yet clear whether or not they’ll make it to the altar. Rumors have circulated that the marriage could end in divorce, given that Pattinson previously told GQ in 2018 that he doesn’t believe in long-term relationships.
