Robert Pattinson is a modern-day Robin Hood. The British actor has been stealing from the rich and giving to the poor for years now, particularly in the fashion world. Most recently, he was named as one of the top 40 philanthropists under 40 in 2018.
Pattinson has been seen wearing designer goods and enjoying luxury vacations. In fact, he is so famous for being a fashion victim that he was even named as part of the BBC’s 20th Century Top Brits list in 2014.
So what is the actor’s secret to staying thin? Is he really Batman’s weight Batman? We found eight pieces of evidence that suggest he might be.
New York City
Pattinson’s list of philanthropy includes supporting animal causes and the homeless, but he also has a history of supporting financially struggling designers. He previously supported Dior Homme, Van Cleef &, and Alexandre Bridelman. Most notably, he has funded the creation of a museum and educational center in New York City dedicated to the work of British designer Stephen Burks.
Burks is famous for his extravagant outfits and extravagant parties. He gained notoriety in 2018 when he designed a £275,000 (around $366,000 nowadays) dress for actress Emma Stone. To date, the dress has over 25,000 views on Pinterest.
The museum is entitled the Stephen Burks Fashion Museum and was opened in September 2018. It is located at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan.
Dior Précieux
Emma Stone is not the only major celebrity to publicly thank Pattinson for his support. He has also been hailed as a style icon by none other than Christian Dior. In April 2018, the French luxury goods brand released a beautiful black silk suit in his honor. The design is called Dior Précieux and is available for purchase.
The British actor was seen wearing the suit on the cover of the fashion magazine Vogue. He also wore the suit for the 2018 Met Gala in New York City. If that is not enough, he has also been featured in fashion spreads and styled for photographers in Vogue, W, and Harper’s Bazaar. We can safely say that he does not have a bad fashion habit. He also regularly attends industry events and parties wearing designer suits.
Richemont
The owners of the Swiss company which makes the popular Swiss watches, Richemont, have also publicly thanked Pattinson for supporting their brand. In April 2018, they unveiled a special edition of their watch in his honor. The special watch is inspired by the actor’s signature look and is colored in deep, intoxicating hues.
Richemont is the owner of numerous other luxury brands, including Montblanc, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Patek Philippe. The luxury watch and jewelry company established in 1847 is named after the city of Montblanc in France.
Burberry
The British luxury brand Burberry has also thanked Pattinson for supporting their Spring 2019 fashion collection. The luxury goods company is synonymous with high-quality, long-lasting, protective wear designed to shield the body from the elements. Thanks to his support, they were able to bring their exquisite printed silk scarves and lightweight trench coats to the fore. The collection is entitled After Dark and is available for purchase now.
Van Cleef &
Pattinson does not seem to be shy when it comes to thanking designers for their clothes. He has been spotted wearing multiple van Cleef & outfits in recent years, including this year’s collection for the designer. The British actor is a true fashion victim and we have no shame in saying it. We know what you are thinking: Batman v Superman? No, no, it’s for fashion.
Chanel
Pattinson was also named as an honorary ambassador for the French luxury brand Chanel in 2018. The actor wore a beautiful white dress with diamond-studded feathers for the fashion house’s prestigious Chanel Coco Plum bag. This is not the first time he has worn a Chanel outfit. In fact, he frequently collaborates with the French luxury brand, especially on their smaller scale jackets and mini-skirts. The white dress he wore for the Chanel Coco Plum bag was also featured in the Autumn/Winter 2018/19 collection.
Piaget
Piaget also recently thanked Pattinson for supporting their brand. The luxury Swiss watch company is famous for their unbreakable timepieces and innovative designs. The design of the 44mm Piaget watch was inspired by Christian Dior’s iconic black and white print. It will cost you £18,000 (around $25,400 nowadays), but then again, so does an elegant dinner with friends.
Bulgari
Bulgari also recently thanked Pattinson for supporting their brand. The luxury Italian brand is best known for making some of the world’s most precious and luxurious wines as well as classic accessories like their leather shoulder bags and metal-bladed handbags. They have also been synonymous with style and elegance for years. For their Spring 2019 collection, they designed a special Rosso corsa wine in honor of the actor. It will be available for purchase in September 2019.
For those who love a good glass of wine, this is the perfect gift for them. This exquisite red wine, inspired by the gorgeous burgundy clothes the actor wears, is a luxurious way to drink the wine. But of course, it’s not just about the wine. It’s about showing your appreciation for everything the fashion victim does for you. From the red dresses he steals to the places he lets you nap in style, there is a lot to appreciate. So go on, let your gratitude overflow.
