You might have seen Robert Pattinson on the red carpet several times in the past few years. Whether he’s been promoting his upcoming movies or hitting the stage at a music festival, the “Twilight” star has been out and about promoting his latest work in recent years. And while he’s always been fashionable, the paparazzi have noticed a change in his style as of late. Is this just a case of a celebrity trying to be trendy, or is there more to it than that? The Fashion Change
In the past few years, Pattinson has slowly started to incorporate more and more of his favorite designers into his look. He has long been known for wearing Saint Laurent, which he wore on the red carpet for the premiere of his film, “Embrace of the Vampire.” Since then, he has worn the brand several times, even choosing to showcase their full men’s collection at the 2019 Golden Globes. Aside from Saint Laurent, Pattinson also wears a lot of Givenchy, which has been seen on the red carpet at the premiere of his upcoming film, “Set Fair” and at the premiere of “Jupiter Ascending” in 2015. Other brands that he has been spotted wearing are Burberry, Dior, and Ettinger.

That same year, he attended the Met Gala in a stunning yellow dress from designer Georges Bourges. This was followed by his turn as Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of “Fifty Shades of Grey” in a Dior couture suit. And then, of course, there was his red carpet appearance as Prince Charming in Dior’s couture wedding dress a few months later.
The Trendy Factor
Aside from becoming more open to wearing designer couture, there is also a chance that, as a celebrity, he simply wants to be trendsetter. After all, being the most photographed celebrity in the world can become pretty boring, at least, for some. The desire to try new things could be what is motivating him to change his style, rather than just wanting to be the best-dressed man alive.
