Robert Pattinson is one of the most beloved Hollywood actors of our time. Since his breakout role in 2010’s “Water for Elephants”, he’s appeared in a number of big-budget Hollywood films, and even had a brief stint as President of the United States. In 2016, he even nabbed a Golden Globe. If you’re still questioning whether or not you’ll like Robert Pattinson, then it’s time to reevaluate your opinion. Here’s a complete list of his numerous film roles, spanning over 10 years.

Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them

The first in a series of magical creatures/witch hunting films, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is based on the books by J.K. Rowling. In the Harry Potter universe, Rowling’s famous wizard has crossed paths with the famous author/artist, as depicted in the film. The famous English author penned more than 20 novel series, some of which were made into films (e.g., “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts”).

Despite the overlap in their work, Rowling and Pattinson have never actually met. The famed author did not approve of the young adult fiction adaptations of her books, and even went as far as to call the first movie adaptation of her children’s books “filth.”

While no actual confirmation of a romantic relationship exists between the two, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is widely considered to be one of the actor’s most prominent dating films. If you’re unfamiliar, and/or haven’t heard of J.K. Rowling, she’s the world’s best-selling author behind the ‘Harry Potter’ series. Her books have sold over 450 million copies and been translated into over 60 languages. On January 12, 2001, Rowling married American billionaire Jim D. Wilson, best known as the founder of the luxury goods company, J.W. HETTINGER & SONS.

What We Know

It’s rare for an actor to have such a devoted and passionate fanbase, but it’s clear that Robert Pattinson is one of the biggest movie stars, if not the biggest movie star, of today. Over the years, the English actor has kept himself busy, starring in both big-budget and independent films alike. Most recently, he starred in three films in 2018: the black comedy, ‘Good Boys’ alongside Woody Allen, the psychological thriller ‘PULS’ and the gangster film ‘The Game.’

Pattinson was born on December 30, 1986, in London. At the age of three, his family moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where he grew up and spent most of his time. The young Robert Pattinson attended The High School of Edinburgh, and then went on to study at the Edinburgh College of Art after graduation. There, he trained as an actor and began working on stage, performing in plays and musicals. While attending art school, he also worked as an intern at a PR agency, where he learned to speak for the media.

Pattinson then moved to London, where he began his acting career. Since then, he’s had several notable success stories, including a handful of nominations for prestigious awards, such as an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. He also garnered critical and popular acclaim for his performance in the indie film, “Good Time.”

In 2016, Pattinson was reportedly in a relationship with actress and singer Emily Renton. The two were first linked when they worked together on the 2016 film, ‘The Commuter,’ where Renton plays Pattinson’s on-screen mother. The couple split up soon after. Reports have suggested that Renton was insecure about her body and didn’t feel comfortable enough with Pattinson to show off her curves. In 2018, he began dating fellow English actress, FKA Twigs. The two were first spotted together at an after-party for the 2018 film, ‘Little Women,’ where Twigs plays Pattinson’s on-screen stepmother. They’re rumored to be planning to wed in the coming years.
