Lets be honest here, this year has not been kind to many movie fans. Its hard to sit down and watch the big-budget spectaculars that are released every year with such frequency nowadays. But those fans who do enjoy a good film, have no shortage of options. With the likes of Black Panther, A Star is Born and James Bond on deck, there are more than enough movies to keep us busy. But for those who want something a little different, well look no further.

Coming soon is Gucci Mane’s highly-anticipated Slice, starring Robert Pattinson. The romantic comedy is based on the true events that led to the formation of the hip-hop group Migos. A film that has both fans and critics alike talking will be released in theaters across the country on March 6th. But until then, we get to indulge in some delicious excerpts from the British actor’s upcoming interview with Wonderland Magazine.

On His Fashion Style

I find fashion and style to be synonymous. I feel that a lot of my character is derived from my style. A lot of people think that because I am a man, my style will be very different to a woman’s, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I feel that a lot of women don’t express themselves in the right way and that is why I love designing clothes for them. A lot of my work involves tailoring, which I do a lot, so I can give them that extra attention to detail that they might not get from a regular outfit.

I also find a lot of joy in menswear. It’s amazing how many people think that it’s not masculine enough to desire fashion and style, but it’s really not. A lot of my friends and colleagues are men and they are always looking for clothing items that they can’t get for themselves. So I make sure that they know that I am their clothing designer. Of course, I wouldn’t mind making clothes for women either. It’s just that I find that men are more open to new ideas and fashion than women are.

On His Fame

I have never really thought about fame and how it all works. I mean, I have heard of people being famous for being famous, but I never really put two and two together. I guess I have always been grateful for the attention. People have come up to me and told me how wonderful I was, how much they love my work. I guess it is something to do with being in the public eye. People are generally very kind and it is something that I have never really thought about.

I love that my films tackle social issues. Issues that are important to me, but that I don’t want to talk about openly. Issues such as self-image, body positivity and mental health, which I feel are topics that should be brought up and discussed more openly in our society. Plus, who doesn’t love a little role reversal now and then.

On His Next Projects

I am currently working on a number of projects, all of which I am extremely excited about. One of them is called The King, and it is about this man’s quest for true love. It’s a little bit of a coming-of-age story about a young man finding himself and it’s a film that I consider to be a bit humorous, but also extremely touching. I also love Daniel Radcliffe, and I think that he can be an incredible actor. I would love to work with him some day. Right now, I am working on a film with Jack Huston and we are adapting the John Le Carré novel The Little Drummer Girl for the big screen. We have a couple of songs that we have recorded so far and I can’t wait for the rest of the band to join us on the project. I hope to start work on this soon.

On Music

Music and I have a very special connection. I used to DJ when I was younger and I still enjoy listening to new music. But for the most part, my fondness for music stems from my childhood. My parents were huge music fans, and they would listen to bands like The Beatles and The Beach Boys on a daily basis. We would listen to these songs as a family and me and my brother would sing along. Nowadays, my tastes in music vary, but I still enjoy bands like The Beatles and The Beach Boys, as well as other artists like Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. I also like to listen to classical music from time to time. I love William Tell Overture and The Godfather Theme, and it always makes me feel nostalgic. When I was younger, the theme to The Bold and the Beautiful used to make me cry, as well. I don’t really listen to music while I work, but I know that it is important to many people and I try and include it in my soundtracks whenever possible.

On Film

I have always been passionate about film. When I was a kid, I would watch films every day after school. It might just have been a habit, but I loved being engrossed in a story. Nowadays, I still enjoy going to the movies. Whether its a romantic comedy or an action movie, I just love being able to escape from reality for a couple of hours.

However, in recent years, movie-going has become rather dull. I don’t really know why. Maybe its because of the increasing number of big-budget spectaculars that are released every year. But I think that there is more to it than that. It seems as though a lot of big-budget films just don’t live up to expectations, and that is a shame. It would be great to see a big-budget film that breaks new ground and inspires innovation instead.

But all in all, I still believe in the power of film. Maybe it is because I have a deep connection to cinema, but I still believe that film can tell incredible stories and that it can evoke powerful emotions. Plus, it might just be the best way to experience something new, rather than watching it on television or streaming services. I think that film is a unique, powerful art form that deserves to be celebrated and that is why I love going to the movies. Hopefully, one day soon, we will be able to put a stop to all of this, and go back to watching films as a way of introducing new stories and new ideas to ourselves and to each other.
