Robert Pattinson’s hair is always one of the first things people notice about him. From those infamous beach-balling scenes in the Twilight series to his current tresses, which he wears occasionally pulled back in a ponytail, we’ve always been mesmerized by his hair. It shines, literally – especially when the sun is beaming down on him. So we were completely floored when we learned that his hair is actually quite dull and lifeless. Yuck! How could such a beautiful man’s hair be so dull? As it turns out, it’s entirely makeup – and we mean full-cover makeup. Yikes!

Let’s dive in and find out more about Robert’s hair – what causes it to shine and why it doesn’t come that way naturally.

Is It All Makeup?

As we mentioned, Robert’s hair is often on the forefront of our minds when we think of him. We think of those silvery rays beaming down on him as he walks on the beach or lies in the sun at a backyard barbecue. And what a difference they make! Sure, we’ve always loved his perfectly messy hair and the fact that it gets such wonderful light – but we didn’t know how much work he had to do to get it to look so effortless. Turns out, a lot!

It seems that all of the makeup he wears is to enhance his hair; that’s why he always looks so dashing. Even when he’s not on the red carpet, he’s usually wearing some sort of facial hair grooming product. With all of that face paint and the lighting, it’s no wonder his hair always looks so radiant.

A Short History Of Makeup For Hair

If you’ve been following our blog for any length of time, you’ll know that we occasionally cover beauty topics that are a little bit nostalgic – like what types of makeup products were used in the past and how they differed from what we use today. This is one of those posts. If you haven’t read it already, you might want to head on over to our blog to learn more about what made this post so special.

For centuries, men and women alike have been trying to create the perfect mask to enhance their features and make them look more appealing. This was most likely due to the fact that people didn’t have the tools to properly reveal their true selves. While we have cameras, cell phones, and the internet, there were no apps or automated tools back then to help us edit our images. So, for the most part, people used makeup to hide their flaws.

As time went on, certain faces were more prevalent in popular culture than others. This made it easier for people to identify with certain characters or actors and, thus, helped shape the way we look at makeup today.

The Importance Of Hair And Makeup In Today’s World

While we’ve always loved a good makeup trick or an old-fashioned mask, we don’t put nearly as much focus on our hair as we used to. This is probably because we have our phones there for selfies now. Or, if we’re having a bad hair day, there’s always Photoshop. When you have your hair and makeup done professionally, there’s no need to hide your natural hair or hide your makeup. Plus, with all of the different hairstyles and makeup looks available, there’s always something out there to suit your needs. So, on the off chance that you don’t feel like you fit into the airbrushed picture on social media, you can always go for a more realistic look. There’s no need to fake it anymore.

On the other hand, if you’re going to be in front of a camera anyway, why not put that camera to good use and show the world your true colors? We still love a good cover-up, especially when the heat is rising and it’s getting hard to concentrate outside, but we don’t feel the need to make our features stand out as much as they used to. After all, when you have a thousand different social media platforms, you’re bound to find someone who loves your natural look.

In conclusion, we don’t feel that makeup affects men and women differently anymore. Most people are just aware of how useful makeup can be in hiding one’s true feelings or beliefs. Some still get a fright when they wake up in the witching hour only to find their pillowcase hanging off one of their arms – but we guess that’s what scares us most about our sleepwear. Still, there are some things that still surprise us about the way in which men and women interact. For example, we still sometimes get surprised when women come up to us and start “gushing” over our hair or how we smell or how we look in the mirror. This, of course, is because we hadn’t previously noticed how much they liked us.

What Causes Robert Pattinson’s Hair To Shine?

In the course of our research, we found several different reasons for Robert’s hair to shine. Let’s take a look:

Age, Sunlight, And Vitamin D

In an interview with Closer magazine, Elizabeth Taylor was asked why she always wears makeup and what product she uses to make her eyes pop. She replied:

“I always wear makeup because I feel that without it I would not look like myself. It’s a way of changing your appearance. It makes you look like somebody else.”

While it would be great to be able to say that Elizabeth Taylor’s comment perfectly explains why Robert’s hair always looks so good, that’s actually not the case. Elizabeth Taylor has been around for over 70 years and has had time to develop her technique while learning from mistakes. She also has access to the best products and experts in the industry. While her makeup might look good in the mirror, we can’t imagine that it would last very long under the brutal Florida sun.

Vitamin D is also extremely important for our health. It keeps our bones healthy and is crucial for our bodies to function normally. Vitamin D is mostly found in the sun, so it’s important that we get adequate exposure to it every day. There are some fantastic vitamin D supplements that you may want to try out, especially if you are concerned about your skin not being exposed to enough UV rays. UV rays not only cause our skin to tan, but they also help our body to produce vitamin D. So while it would be wonderful to have hair that simply “discovered” how beautiful it was and didn’t need any help, that’s usually not the case. The truth is, Robert Pattinson’s hair usually looks good because of all of the work that goes into it.

Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is usually used to give a quick fix for hair that has gotten greasy or full of product build-up. Due to its lightweight and non-wetting nature, it’s often used as a basecoat before applying a cream or oil-based product for additional hair effects.

We know what you’re thinking: isn’t it odd that we’re talking about hair and makeup products, yet haven’t mentioned water once? It’s true, we aren’t. But water is important, too. It keeps our bodies functioning properly and promotes good health. So while we’re not saying you should never drink the stuff, it’s also important to understand that dehydrating your body can have negative effects. If you’re serious about taking care of your health, you should try to stay hydrated. That goes for men and women alike. It’s also worth noting that some people are more sensitive to dehydration than others. For example, those with heart diseases or diabetes might need to hydrate more than others.

Conditioning

We’re always looking for ways to make our hair healthier and shineier. One of the best ways to do this is through proper conditioning. For centuries, men and women have been using various oils and butters to grease their scalp and make it easier for hair to grow. This was most likely because regular shampooing and conditioning made hair very easy to break down. If you’ve never really given much thought to the way your hair grows, it might be time to take it up a notch. When we condition our scalp, we make it easier for our hair to grow quicker and healthier. This is why we need to condition our teeth before we start whitening them. The same goes for hair. We can’t expect our hair to grow well if we aren’t taking good care of it first. There are many oils and butters out there that you could try out. Coconut oil and almond oil are excellent for this purpose.
