When you’re famous, life can get pretty sweet. You wake up, go to work, do your thing, and then maybe get treated to a few luxuries such as a hot shower, a comfortable bed, and a chilled sparkling wine.
But occasionally, you have to go to school. And even though you’re one of the most popular movie stars in the world, going to school doesn’t come easy. Especially not in a cold, creepy place like Florida.
Don’t get me wrong. I love a good scare as much as the next person. Especially when it comes with an ‘80s horror movie soundtrack. But even I have my limits. In the end, you just have to put yourself in it and hope for the best.
So let’s take a look at what life is like for the British actor and model Robert Pattinson, as told to Marie Claire magazine.
Robert Pattinson’s School Nightmare
When I think of school, I think of endless sums, terrifying exams, and terrible teachers. Luckily, none of these things come close to describing what school is really like for Robert Pattinson. Instead, here’s a quick list of all the luxurious things you get to do as a student:
- Sleep.
- Study.
- Eat cake.
- Watch movies.
- Play video games.
- Practice your musical instruments.
- Walk down the halls
- Talk to your teachers
- And, above all, read!
It’s clear that Robert Pattinson’s dream school would have to incorporate all of these things. Luckily, we live in a dream world, and so does he.
The Good, The Bad, And The Scary
While we’re on the topic of school, let’s talk about the good, the bad, and the scary. First off, the good. You’ll obviously have to put up with a lot of teachers who don’t seem to know or care that you’re just a kid. But that’s a small price to pay for all the other good stuff. When your teachers are nice to you, you’ll be able to focus on studying and having fun. As for the bad and the scary, well…they’re pretty much one and the same. But you’ll have to put up with the occasional bullying and craziness from your classmates. It’s pretty much a shared burden at this point. You might also get into trouble with your teachers for not doing your homework. Or for being in the bathroom for too long. Or for talking during class. The list of potential offenses is endless. Just make sure you can handle yourself in any situation and you’ll be able to enjoy your time at school. Otherwise, you might end up hating it. And that, my friend, would be a very sad story indeed.
So, as you can see above, Robert Pattinson gets to do all of these things that we would all love to do. But in all honesty, the biggest blessing in disguise is that he gets to do them at such a young age. Sure, it would be great if he could stay in school forever and ever. But at this point, he’s got quite a bit of growing up to do. He’s got to learn to deal with criticism, to understand his own limits, and to find his purpose in life. Luckily for us, he’s already shown an incredible amount of promise, and it’s only a matter of time before he makes his presence known to the world. In the meantime, enjoy these childhood years as much as you can.
