Ain’t no party like a Stella McCartney party! The designer hosted a bash to celebrate her label’s latest collection. Among the crowd of socialites were celebrities such as Kristen Stewart, Doutzen Kroes, and Robert Pattinson.
Wearing a red suit, and looking every bit the British dreamboat, the actor hit the red carpet to rapturous applause. As if to further cement his place in the hearts of fashion fans, Pattinson sported a stunning Armani suit a few days later.
McCartneys has created a masterpiece with this year’s collection. Using vibrant hues and unique prints, the designer has produced a luxurious outfit for men and women. And for a limited time only, you can get your hands on one of these glorious garments. We’ve put together a shortlist of our favorite pieces from the collection, and it’s quite a list.
The Armani Suit
Let’s not beat around the bush here, we all adore Roberto Armani. While his aesthetic might be simple, he always manages to turn out designs that are both unique and breathtaking. Armani has once again provided us with a masterpiece, and this season’s suit is certainly no exception. The Italian maestro has created a true work of art with this year’s collection, using unique motifs and unexpected juxtapositions.
Made from a stretchy polyester- and spandex-blend fabric, we’re certain that you’ll either love or hate this piece. The cut is impeccable, and the fit is very flattering. It’s not often that a designer comes up with a suit that is so perfect almost everyone will want to wear it. Armani has certainly hit the bull’s-eye with this one.
The Tie Dye Shirt
If you love psychedelic patterns and colors, then the hand-painted tie dye shirts are for you. Made by New York-based fashion brand Illness, this textile is an experiment of sorts. Using a mix of traditional and digital methods, Martin Hajek designed these graphic shirts. The patterns and colors are extremely random, yet they all feature the brand’s logo, which is printed in a pleasing and non-intimidating manner.
“It’s a difficult thing to put into words the feeling I had when I first put this [tie dye] shirt on,” said Hajek. “I feel like I’ve been given a new lease on life.” We can’t argue with him. Not only is the shirt an exercise in futility (especially if you’re not into psychedelic patterns and colors), but it’s also an education in seeing the brand’s logo in a whole new way — and for that, we’re certain that you’ll love this shirt.
The Oversized Hand JEWELLERY
Speaking of new leases on life, we can’t think of a more unique and beautiful way to wear your heart on your sleeve than with oversized jewelery. As we’ve established, McCartney is a genius when it comes to putting a fashionable twist on popular items, and this season, she’s created an oversize, chandelier earring. Crafted from 18K white and yellow gold, the piece weighs nearly three pounds and is completely adjustable. You’ll need someone to help you put it on, but once you do, you’ll find yourself effortlessly twirling in a fashionable manner.

The Print-On-Print Jeans
Finally, let’s not forget about the most unique and luxurious piece in the collection, the pair of printed jeans. With this pair of jeans, you’ll be getting a double feature of sorts: the pattern itself, and its reflected image in gold. You’ll find the designer’s slogan, “Fashion for the People” emblazoned on the front pockets. Even more interesting is the designer’s use of a photo mosaic, where each patch is a photograph. We’re not exactly sure how this will all come together, but we’re sure you’ll have lots of fun trying to figure it out.
More Than Meets The Eye
As we’ve established, McCartney is a genius when it comes to putting a luxurious spin on timeless fashion items, and we have to admit, you can’t make a list of her best works and not include this season’s collection. In addition to the items listed above, we’re certain that you’ll walk away with a newfound appreciation for the Italian designer. And it wouldn’t hurt to add that many of these items are available for purchase, so you might just run into the perfect suit or shirt — at least, as perfect as you can get — yourself.
