The success of New Moon was no accident: Summit Entertainment CEO Bill Gerber described the Twilight films as “the best-selling DVD franchise of all time,” and noted that the studio has “earned an unprecedented level of success” with the series.

One of the reasons behind the film’s box office success is the breakout performance of its leading man, Robert Pattinson. The British actor has been touted as the next big thing since 2010’s hit comedy Crazy Rich Asians, and he truly lived up to the hype with his impressive range of acting performances.
