You may know Robert Pattinson as the charming, likable British actor who’s graced the big and small screens for years now. He’s currently starring in the indie smash hit What Will You Do After You Graduate? as well as the upcoming Divergent series. If you’ve been watching the popular British TV show, The Bachelorette, you may have also seen him as one of the eligible bachelors who compete for Joanna’s heart. So, if you’re not exactly sure what kind of man Robert Pattinson is, you may be surprised to learn that his penis isn’t circumcised!

The star revealed in an interview with GQ that he had his foreskin removed as a youth because he was afraid it might be torn off during sexual activity. The 32-year-old actor said that he was inspired by his grandparents and wanted to experience the pleasure of sex without the pain of having his foreskin trapped during an intimate moment. He also added that he likes the way his penis looks without being circumcised and finds it more liberating not to have the membrane removed.

This may come as a shock to fans who have grown accustomed to seeing the star’s penis covered in clothes during interviews and on-screen. The English actor has previously spoken about his struggle with body positivity in interviews, often noting that he doesn’t fit the “ideal” male or female mold. In 2014, he told Elle:

“I’d like to feel comfortable in my own skin and feel like I can show it off. I know that’s probably not the most masculine thing to say, but I don’t really feel like there is such a thing as being too masculine. I hate the word ‘feminine,’ because I don’t feel like I fall into that category.”

So, to those who find this information shocking, we have some good news. Not only does Robert have his foreskin, but he also has a dick head!

In the interview with GQ, Robert added that he prefers to be called “Dickie” rather than “Robert” and that he feels his full name, which would be Richard Louis Pattinson, doesn’t fit him either. Interestingly, while discussing his struggles with body positivity, he noted that he’s felt happier since gaining some weight and bulk, adding:

“I’ve always been quite skinny, and it’s held me back. When you’re in your early 20s and you’re not comfortable with your body, it’s hard to find the right clothes. Now that I’m getting older, I want to enjoy my life, and being fit isn’t ruining my life. It’s making me a better person.”

So there you have it, folks. If you’re looking for a role model, you don’t have to look further. While there are no guarantees in life, there’s a good chance that Robert Pattinson will make you feel proud to be a man.
