If you’re in Hollywood, you might be familiar with Robert Pattinson. The English actor stars in the upcoming remake of the classic ‘Twilight’ film series, and for those in the know, he is currently dating Hollywood starlet Alicia Keys. Even if you’re not in the know, you might know that the 26-year-old is one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood.

Pattinson is now planning to take his talents to the other side of the pond. According to reports, he has teamed up with a UK law firm to launch a talent agency. With offices in London, the agency will represent up-and-coming English and international actors, as well as actresses seeking to break into the U.K. film industry.

The agency is currently looking to sign clients, and if you are an actor/actress seeking representation, you can apply through its website. Interested applicants should email enquiries@robertwpattinson.com.

Agency Clients Will Have A Say In The Future Of Their Work

The talent agency’s website sets the scene perfectly: “After months of speculation, gossip and scandal, Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor is setting up his own agency to finally put an end to the rumors and get some peace,” it reads. “And what’s more, he’s doing it in partnership with one of the UK’s most successful law firms, Godfrey Ho LLP.”

Representatives for the agency told Variety that its clients will have “the opportunity to participate in shaping the future of their work,” adding that their “clients will enjoy a meaningful partnership in this exciting new venture.”

Pattinson’s agency will not only represent his clients in the traditional sense, but will also give them “an opportunity to have a unique voice in choosing their next steps – whether that’s negotiating a new movie deal, setting up a production company or finding the right manager for their career,” according to agency head David Godfrey. He added: “I’m really looking forward to working with Robert and his unique ability to connect with and engage audiences worldwide. I’m sure that our clients will benefit hugely from his experience.”

Agency Will Provide Essential Services To Its Clients

The agency will provide clients with “a full public relations and marketing plan” and will “research and present the best possible options for their projects,” according to its website. It will also “assist in securing funding” for their films and television shows. Clients will enjoy a 24-hour personal assistant who is available to “handle all communications, including press inquiries and manage schedule conflicts,” the website adds.

It is not yet known how much the agency will cost its clients. The minimum fee will be “significantly less than what the industry standard fee would be for a traditional agency,” representatives for the company told Variety. “This will be because we will not be charging for secretarial and administrative support as these costs are already included in our overall fee structure.”

Pattinson’s New Challenge

Pattinson has always been a man of many talents, and he has not wasted any time since his break-up with Demi Moore in early 2007. Since then, he has focused on his acting career and completed filming on the highly anticipated movie ‘Twilight Remake,’ due for release in 2015. Besides acting, he has authored a book about poetry, recorded several albums, and released a collection of short stories.

The ‘Twilight’ star will now have a new challenge. Not only has he fallen in love with Alicia Keys, but he has also decided to embark on a European tour with her this summer. Along with his band, the Twilight Sad, they will be hitting the stage across the continent. Before the end of the year, he will also be seen onscreen as a guest on American TV show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’

On the surface, this might look like a dream come true for the self-confessed “avid cinema fan.” However, the British actor is clearly not taking the decision to leave Hollywood lightly. “I’ve always wanted to do my own agency,” he told Hollywood Reporter in March. “I’ve just never had the time. But this isn’t something I’m going to do for the fun of it. I’m really excited about it.”

It will not be the first time that Pattinson has teamed up with a law firm. In 2008, he registered the name ‘Pattinson Hogg,’ which is the combination of his first and last name, with a UK law firm to create a limited company that will “act as his agents for the purposes of representing him in all commercial and contractual matters,” according to the company’s website.

Although his previous venture did not go as well as he would have liked, perhaps this time round will be different. At the very least, it will be an interesting experiment to see how an ‘A-lister’ does it in the UK capital. For those seeking acting representation, the future is looking bright.
