Not all beaches are made equal. Some beaches are much more suited for shooting than others. If you want to do this photo opportunity in Tulum, Mexico, for example, you’d better check the weather before you set off. Due to a quirk in the weather statistics, the sun sets much later there than it does in other parts of the world. So, if you want a no-shirt picture perfect, pick a beach that never gets too towards nightfall. Of course, this isn’t written in stone. It depends on when the sun sets and how fast it rains. But, generally, a good rule of thumb is to pick a nonsmoking beach that has some seclusion and is far from any major roadways. This will minimize the risk of any traffic collisions.
