That same year, she appeared in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, a remake of the French comedy, Alors, Mon Pote, as well as Joe Wright’s Atonement, directed by Ian McKellan. While most of Wright’s previous work centered around historical events, this time he tackles the great love-hate story between Lola and Vanya, played by Ralph Fiennes and Anne Hathaway.
