On May 24th, 2018, Australian pop-sensation Robert Pattinson and Dutch fashion designer Mia Goth welcomed a baby girl into the world. The couple’s first child is named Louisa Elizabeth after Pattinson’s mother, Elizabeth Taylor. The proud parents shared their exciting news with the world via social media.

The actor shared a blurry photo on his Instagram story on May 24, welcoming his first child with a beautiful smile. He has also updated his status to read, “It’s a girl!”

Goth, 37, also shared a sweet photo on her Instagram account, which has received more than 12.4 million views as of this writing. The designer showed off her baby bump in a stunning black and white image, which also features the adorable newborn.

The couple met at a pre-Oscars party in 2017 and got engaged last October. They later held a private wedding ceremony in Amsterdam in November.

Pattinson’s Grown Up Career

The actor has kept a relatively low profile since launching his acting career in 2006 with the indie crime thriller The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Over the years, he’s mostly shied away from the limelight and worked on developing his craft. He continued to build his portfolio with roles in critically acclaimed films such as David Lynch’s Dolemite, Lars Von Trier’s Dancer in the Dark and the indie musical Never Let Me Go.

Goth’s Evolving Style

The fashion designer has built an impressive reputation for herself in the industry with a distinct style that mixes feminine swoon with industrial strength. She studied fashion design in Amsterdam and has since worked with some of the biggest names in the business including Dior, Ralph Lauren and Burberry.

As her star has risen, so has her personal life, which she has pursued with equal vigor. In 2015, she became engaged to musician Prince Harry; the couple tied the knot in December 2017. Their first child, Princess Elisabeth, was born in May 2018.

Pattinson and Goth’s Collaboration

Pattinson and Goth are no stranger to collaborating, as they’ve worked together on an array of pieces throughout the years. Their first project was an undie-themed capsule collection in 2016, followed by a capsule collection focused on Harry and his friends in 2017.

Their latest project is a capsule collection for Louisa Elizabeth. As the proud parents of a baby girl, they aimed to create a capsule collection that would be a timeless gift for the little princess. Their goal was to have a capsule collection that would be as functional as it is fashionable and would be suitable for both boys and girls.

The designers were inspired by traditional Indian dress, which they combined with more modern silhouettes to create a unique collection.
