It’s interesting that Pattinson opted to play dress-up as a child, and it’s not hard to see the influence of his childhood in his retro-inspired outfits. The rumour mill went into overdrive when it emerged Pattinson had designed the suit based on a sketch by artist Alan Cheng. In an interview with Vogue, the actor said he envisioned his partnership with Cheng, who also designed his Ouija movie posters and cover art, as a “marriage of creative minds”. Of course, Pattinson isn’t the only one that the Kingsman brand appeals to – the film series has also inspired a fashion trend towards heavily embroidered and patterned knits and floral wall coverings.
