While most people are still under the misconception that Rob Pattinson is dating Kim Kardashian, the reality is that the Scottish actor has a very special secret girlfriend. Yes, you read that correctly – Robert Pattinson has a sister he has never spoken about who plays an important role in his personal and professional life.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Robert’s sister, Rosie stated that she is “head over heels” in love with her brother’s collaborator, Emily Jackson. Additionally, Rosie claims Emily is “the most kind-hearted person” she has ever known. When asked if she felt like a matchmade sister, Rosie responded, “I feel like I’ve been given a guardian angel.”

While we can’t confirm whether or not Emily is truly the saint her brother claims to know her to be, we can say that Rosie definitely seems to stand by his side. If you’re unfamiliar, Rosie is currently a fashion stylist for high-profile clients; she previously worked as a creative director for international retailers like Harvey Nichols and is currently based in New York City.

On The Importance Of Having A Sister

Although it may seem odd to have a sibling who isn’t part of the family, Robert Pattinson has made it clear in the past that he feels incredibly lucky to have had Rosie in his life. Back in April 2018, on the occasion of Rosie’s 40th birthday, Rob tweeted that having a sister who is “four decades younger than me is the best gift ever.”

Indeed, as exciting as it may be to have a celebrity boyfriend, it’s been an incredible gift for Rosie to have someone her own age to share her adventures with. Even more exciting is the fact that she doesn’t just get to share these experiences with her brother; she gets to do it with someone she describes as “the most kind-hearted person I’ve ever met.”

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Rosie described how being Robert’s sister has changed her life:

  • I feel like I can truly be myself.
  • I’ve made lifelong friends.
  • It’s been an education being his sister.

While many might see having a sibling as a hindrance, especially since Robert is undoubtedly the favorite child, Rosie sees it differently. As she told The Sunday Times, “I’ve always felt that I had to be the best at everything, and I think, looking back, that was probably the reason I was so driven.”

A Girlfriend Who Accepts Him For Who He Is

Another important factor that could make Emily such a suitable partner for Robert is the fact that she appears to accept him for who he is. As we’ve established, Robert’s previous relationships have never really worked out, largely due to his own insecurities. And while he’s made some great friends through his work, it seems that these are mostly people who have helped him to feel comfortable in his own skin. In a recent interview with Vogue, Emily described how she has helped to bring out the best in Robert:

  • I’ve watched him work hard to develop his body and his muscles. So, for me, that’s been a huge step forward. I admire him for that.

Emily not only accepts Robert for who he is, but also recognizes the importance of his work. In an interview with The Telegraph, she stated, “It’s not about him [celebrity clients] and what they want, it’s about what he wants and needs. He’s someone who’s really passionate about his craft, and he’s brilliant at it. He deserves to be paid well for the amazing work he does.”

It would be remiss of us not to point out that despite her kind comments, Emily’s profession could potentially conflict with Robert’s. After all, she works for Harvey Nichols, the same company Rosie used to work for. But while this may cause a little friction in their relationship, they seem to manage it well enough to keep it healthy.

Friendship Through Art

Perhaps one of the most endearing qualities about Emily is that she seems to take an interest in everything her brother does. In fact, she frequently cheers him on throughout his various projects. Most recently, Emily was there to present Rob with the Douglas Hyde Medal at the British Empire Medal Awards, an event honoring the work of the British Empire in international development. As the MC for the evening, Robert joked, “It’s always nice to have a sibling around when you’re getting a medal.”

The two seem to have a special connection through art, with Emily even designing one of Rob’s tattoos. In an interview with Hello! Magazine, Rosie revealed, “I’ve known Emily for a while. We used to be really close, and then, as time went on, we became very, very good friends. After a while, she said to me, ‘I want to do something special for your brother.’ And I said, ‘Yes, please do!’ So, she designed a tattoo for him.”

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that Rosie and Emily have a lot in common. Not only do they share the same father and live in the same household, but they’ve both been through quite a bit in their lives. However, while Rosie is best known for her work in fashion, Emily is an actress who has appeared in films like Now You See Me and Fifty Shades of Grey. So while the roles may be different, it’s clear that being a part of the “Pattinson family” is something that the two sisters enjoy.

Sadly, this is all probably going to end very soon. As previously mentioned, Rosie is quite protective of her bro, and it seems that she doesn’t want anyone getting too close to him. In the same interview with The Sunday Times, she said, “I’m sure he’s [Emily’s] big brother, but I don’t think there are any other sisters. I don’t want anyone getting too close to him.”

So it seems that the sibling rivalry is going to come to an end very soon. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise, as it’s always healthier for Rob to be in a stable, long-term relationship. But until then, we can bask in the fact that he has some very happy sisters.
