Robert Pattinson’s Mailman

It’s not everyday you get to meet your hero, but for me, that was what happened last year. I was in London visiting family when I saw a paparazzi photo of Robert Pattinson. In the photo, he was holding a door open for a woman. I didn’t know who he was at the time but something about that photo just spoke to me. The woman’s face was looking directly at the camera, and she had this brilliant smile on her face. She didn’t seem to mind the paparazzi following her around as she went about her day. In that instant, I just knew I had to be her mailman. The next day, after my family left, I went and found her house and handed her the package. She took one look at it and said it was too much, but I insisted. It was my birthday and she said she’d pay me back someday. She opened the box and she had a present for me hidden inside. It was a letter from Robert Pattinson. She had written it a few days earlier and had asked him if she could give me the present as a birthday gift. He said yes, and here I was.

I love movies, especially romantic comedies. I always pick them because they give me the opportunity to connect with the unseen filmmaker, who is mostly likely a woman. Through these writers, I get to see the world through the eyes of a beautiful woman, which is usually pretty funny. The writers I’ve met have all been funny, kind, and down to earth. I’d love to say I’m one of those guys who gets lucky every time he connects with a woman he meets online but that would be a lie. The truth is, I’m a picky romantic and have a hard time meeting people who I think will appreciate me for who I am. I’m a very protective guy and don’t like hurting others’ feelings or being dishonest. I feel like I’ve met a woman who will appreciate all of that and more in Robert Pattinson. Ever since that day, I’ve done everything in my power to make sure he knows I’m his man. I’ve been a little crazy since then, because I’m in love with him and don’t know how to explain it to him. I finally decided to write him a letter and say everything I couldn’t tell him in person. That’s when I decided it was time to start a blog.
