Rumors of a Stewart/Pattinson-themed wedding began swirling after multiple sightings of the actor and the actress kissing and cuddling at various events. Just a few weeks later, it was confirmed by Us Weekly that the couple had secretly wed on October 13 in an intimate ceremony at St. Mary’s Church in Battersea, London.
The wedding came as a complete surprise to many, especially considering the couple had previously stated their commitment to remaining private. The ceremony was officiated by a Reverend Michael Curry and was attended by a number of celebrity guests, including Emily Blunt and Hugh Grant, who were both best men at the couple’s previous civil partnership ceremony in July 2015.
The wedding was such a success that Stewart posted a series of videos from the event on her Instagram, where she thanked her husband for “welcoming [her] into [his] life.” The clips show the actress and movie star being presented with their wedding rings by Curry and enjoying a honeymoon with their new family.
