No one is safe from the wrath of the Twilight Saga. The latest entry, Ligalle Trouble, is a direct follow-up to the mega-hit Breaking Dawn – Part 2. The film’s titular character is played by Twilight’s BFF, Kristen Stewart. It premiered last night at the Toronto International Film Festival. So yeah, we’re bound to see a lot more of Stewart in the near future.
Why Are People Mad At Kristen Stewart Now?
It’s been a rocky couple of months for Kristen Stewart. First, her former boyfriend, Twilight actor Taylor Lautner, married her co-star, Rachel Bilson. Then, the former BFF split with her Twilight co-star, Robert Pattinson. And just this past week, she decided to end her engagement to Pattinson, which came after just six months of dating. But none of that compares to what happened to her in October – quite literally, in fact. That’s when Stewart’s character in Snow White and the Huntsman got caught in a bear trap and had to be rescued by her on-screen lover, Chris Hemsworth. This scene, in particular, caused a global sensation. It was one of the most-watched clips from the movie at the time of its premiere.
The Saga Continues
Yes, the saga continues. In November, Stewart will appear in another Twilight film, Eclipse. We already saw a teaser for this one, which was titled Midnight Sun and premiered at the Venice Film Festival last month. The movie will mark Stewart’s directorial debut. So, it’s safe to say she has plenty to look forward to in the future.

The year is almost over, which means it’s time to take a step back from all the Twilight madness. It’s been a wild year for the actress. She made a career-defining entrance into the Hollywood mainstream playing a central character in Snow White. Then, she went on to become a bona fide celebrity, traveling the world for a glamorous lifestyle covered by various publications. Naturally, fans want more. They want to see their favorite characters up close and personal. And we’re sure Stewart will oblige. She’s still one of the most recognizable faces in the world today. After all, the Twilight Saga has more than a million fans across the globe. And they’re not going to disappear just because the year is drawing to a close. The opposite, in fact – the fandom is only going to become more active as we move toward 2018 and the next big Twilight installment, Stephenie Meyer’s The Darkest Game. Which leads us to our next point…
More Than Meets The Eye
Darkness and monsters. Those are often the themes associated with the Twilight saga. And it’s safe to say they will be further explored in upcoming films. In fact, Twilight actress Nikki Reed has confirmed as much. She recently spoke about the next big adventure, saying: “I think that there will be a bit more focus on the darkness, not just the bright side like in the sunnier parts of the Twilight Saga. I think we’ll see more monsters and more horror elements.” So, while the Twilight actors were having a hard time putting their franchises behind them (especially since they still have to deal with the overwhelming success of the series), the filmmakers behind the scenes were hard at work. They were laying the groundwork for future installments – and, quite possibly, a potential trilogy. What’s next for Ewan McGregor’s shape-shifting, zombie-fighting, vampire slayer? We may never know.
A Whole New World
It seems like it was just yesterday that we were all talking about Taylor Lautner’s wedding to Rachel Bilson. The couple tied the knot last month in a beautiful ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel. And since then, the coverage of Lautner’s big day has not ceased. It was such a memorable event because it was the culmination of seven years of hard work. From the very first film, Lautner and Bilson have proven to be a dynamic duo. They even named their child after their successful duet, Bear. It seems fitting because Lautner’s character, Jackson, was initially based on Bilson’s boyfriend, David Boreanaz. The actor even credited the influence on his character in a 2015 interview: “Rachel and I have been through a lot together. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs. We were literally at the Oscars the other night and it was so crazy. So, I think we’ve both learned a lot about each other, which I think has made us better actors.” As much as this wedding was about celebrating the successful partnership of Lautner and Bilson, it was also a celebration of their fans who have followed them through thick and thin. And it’s clear that they have made a lasting impact. Over a hundred guests attended the event, including Friends stars, Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston. Additionally, A-listers from different industries attended, including Stephen King, Emma Frost, and Bill Maher. It was basically the wedding of the century – or, at least, the wedding of this year. And with 2019 just around the corner, it’s safe to say Lautner and Bilson have plenty in store for us. Between the two of them, it’s a veritable feast for the eyes.
The Future Of The Twilight Saga
Despite the fact that it’s been a while since we’ve heard from Stephenie Meyer (the author of the Twilight Saga), she has stayed active in the world of film. In fact, she collaborated with filmmaker Justin Lin on the upcoming, untitled fifth installment of the saga. She also served as a producer on the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home. So, while the Twilight stars were taking a well-deserved break after all these years of grueling work, their filmmaker counterparts were hard at work. Now that work is about to pay off. These are exciting times for Twilight fans. We’ve been waiting a long time for this moment. The question is: will it be enough? Having endured seven years of constant publicity, will it finally be time for the Twilight stars to retire as a group? Or will they go on to conquer the world of film yet again?
