It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Robert Pattinson here at Seventeen, and not just because he’s one of the most talented and beautiful men we’ve ever seen. We love his sense of style and his unique charm. So when he decided to show off his famous cooking skills by opening a pizza restaurant in London – which happened to be our favorite city – we knew we had to try it out. Now, a year later, we’re finally able to share our experience with you guys. Let’s eat!

A Year of Changes

It’s been a year since Brooklyn Chef & Bar Manager, Robert Pattinson, opened his doors to the public and began serving his unique take on traditional pizza and pasta dishes. Since then, the restaurant has steadily gained a reputation for delicious food and fantastic service. And when you add in the fact that many of the chef’s favorite ingredients are easy to find in your local supermarket, it makes for some pretty easy weeknight cooking. As a result of the restaurant’s growing popularity, and in the face of consistent high demand, the Chef & Bar team have recently expanded the menu to include American classics like Barbecue and Fettuccine. And let’s not forget about desserts! The restaurant is now offering the largest selection of desserts ever seen at an eatery of this size. The Best Menu We’ve Seen To Date

The menu at Brooklyn Chef & Bar is definitely one of our favorites to date. It’s simple, it’s straightforward, and it offers just about everything you could want from a restaurant’s menu. The range of options is diverse, and the portions are more than ample. If you’re looking for a meal that will leave you feeling physically and mentally satisfied, then you’ve come to the right place. Also, the restaurant’s specialty pizzas are some of the best we’ve seen, even surpassing those sold at famous pizza joints in New York City. Just take a look at the ingredients in their unique Rust Belt bake – a pizza topped with pickles, smoked salmon, pepperoni, and green onion. It’s simple, yet so creative and such a unique combination of flavors and textures that it’s truly captivating.

An Opportunity To Travel To London

We were lucky enough to be able to visit Brooklyn Chef and Bar during one of our trips to London. It was our first opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom since getting our citizenship a few years ago, and we couldn’t resist the chance to eat at one of the most famous restaurants in town. Although we’re not actually gluten-free, as you’ll see in the next section of this post, we wanted to try out as many of the restaurant’s offerings as possible, so that’s why we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The former was a lovely fried protein, served with spicy Indian chutney and creamy yogurt, while the latter was accompanied by fluffy fries and a truly excellent coleslaw. The restaurant’s lemonade was a refreshing way to end the meal, and the look on Chef’s face as he served it to us was priceless. It was a real family affair, as his daughter and his fianceé were joining him for the evening, and they were all in awe of the service and the food selection. We’ll talk more about them in a bit.

All The Ingredients You’ll Need Are Easily Available

The best part of Brooklyn Chef and Bar’s menu is that it doesn’t require the use of specialist or unusual ingredients. Instead, you’ll find most of the food groups you need for a decent meal, prepared by a chef who is obviously passionate about creating delicious dishes. The ingredients may be simple, but their combinations are anything but, and that’s what makes them special. You’ll find everything you need to create the recipe, and if you don’t have some of the items, you can ask the waiter to get it for you.

A Bit More Of A Luxurious Feeling

While we were in London for the dinner at Brooklyn Chef and Bar, we were also able to dine at some other restaurants. One of our favorite meals was at L’Orangerie, a French restaurant whose menu we chose based on what was available in the UK Market. The food was excellent, and we especially loved the way they presented our food on a beautiful plate. One of the things that made it feel a bit more like a luxury restaurant was the addition of a wide array of edible flowers that they’d harvested from around the hotel. Of course, we had to order the chocolate fountain dessert, which was absolutely magnificent, and not something you have every day in your local supermarket. Another great dessert option is their warm chocolate lava cake with coconut ice cream and caramelized bananas – YUM! And for those of you who are unable to eat gluten, they also have a multi-grain bread that you can choose to dip your french fries in. It’s the perfect accompaniment for a burger and mash or fish pie. Overall, the restaurant’s vibe is very pleasing and calming – the perfect resting place for an afternoon or evening, if you’re in London looking for a relaxing and luxurious dining experience.

An Opportunity For Better Nutrition

One of the things we love most about Brooklyn Chef and Bar is that they are offering a variety of dishes that are good for us and that give us the nutrition we need. We know that many restaurants, especially those located in big cities, will often use the term ‘healthy’ when marketing their menu, but it’s really not what they mean. Instead, their food is mostly made from cheap and unhealthy fast food ingredients. And that’s what’s making them popular – the food is tasty, but the nutrition is awful. At least, that’s what we think. You’ll be surprised how many people order the chicken tenders here, for example, when they’re really not that hungry. And, on the other hand, there are people who opt for the cheesy nachos because they think they’re getting a good diet by ordering them. We’d recommend you look for eateries that use more nutritious and sustainable ingredients – that’s the type of place you’ll find a lot of goodness.

Serving The Community

Another wonderful thing about Brooklyn Chef and Bar is that they are committed to serving the local community. In 2016, the restaurant launched a brunch menu, which provides food for people of all incomes who are looking for a hearty meal before their travels. And they provide a percentage of their profits to a number of local charities, including the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Young Carers Society.

So, as you might imagine, we were really excited to try out this brand new restaurant, and we look forward to coming back for more. But, for now, we’ll have to make do with the memories we have of this lovely lady (in the red dress) and this handsome devil (in the black shirt).
