The actor/singer/model recently had to cancel a string of gigs due to an “unforeseen circumstance”, and was forced to postpone the release of his fifth studio album, Dior. “Dior” is currently scheduled for a July 19th release date, but the 27-year-old’s representatives have now revealed that the album will be pushed back indefinitely. According to the source, “It’s not just that Robert didn’t have enough time to produce the album, it’s that he has allergies and had to take a break from working on it to recover.” The announcement comes just a few short weeks after Pattinson committed an album leak, for which he later apologized. This led fans to question whether or not the singer/songwriter had truly been laid to rest. Could the sudden return of the “leakster” be behind this unprecedented string of events?

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the star revealed that his doctor has been keeping a close eye on his vitals, and has advised him to be careful about what he consumes. “I’ve got a really, really serious allergy to wheat and dairy,” he said. “And the doctors said, ‘You should avoid these things completely if you want to be able to perform.’ I want to be able to perform! I love doing concerts. I think my doctor has been giving me some food recommendations, just to try and increase my tolerance to these things, so that I don’t have to change my diet. But I can’t eat wheat or dairy, so my diet has changed a lot to not contain those things.”

It’s clear that Pattinson is doing everything in his power to ensure that his fans remain supportive. “I’m really sorry for letting everyone down,” he said in a statement released by his representatives. “I hate letting my fans down, especially since we have already started promoting Dior. My apologies. I’ll try my best to make it up to them as soon as I can.”

The question on everyone’s lips is: why July 19th? It seems that Pattinson’s team has chosen this particular date for two reasons.
