In between, he’s been posting lots of behind-the-scenes footage on social media, showing off his incredible on-set skills and fashion sense. While we’re excited to see more of Pattinson and his progress as an actor, it really is a bittersweet moment for Twilighters around the world, as we know this is likely to be the last hurrah of the Twilight franchise. It’s been an incredible 10 years since the first Twilight book was published, with over 600 million copies of the series sold around the world, making it the bestselling of all time. As we wait for Pattinson to return to the spotlight, let’s take a trip back in time to revisit some of the most important details about his incredible career, shall we?

A Royal Baby Shower For Princess Louisa!

In case you missed it, back in May 2018, Robert Pattinson and his wife, Fanny, had the pleasure of welcoming a baby girl into the world. The new parents named their newborn daughter, Louisa, after Princess Louisa, the granddaughter of Queen Victoria. The christening ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, with the baby’s godparents being her uncle Harry, Prince of Wales, and her great-aunt, the Duchess of York. It was yet another royal honor for the proud parents, who are now doting grandparents!

The newlywed couple have been very busy since the birth of their baby girl. While Fanny has mostly been keeping a low profile, Robert has been busy making the most of his new status as a father. He has been photographed several times since the birth, usually arriving at photo shoots sporting a snappy dress code. And who wouldn’t, given that he now has a little princess to raise?

While the future seems incredibly bright for Robert andFanny, it’s fair to say that their life as a couple has changed forever. They’ve traded in their bachelor apartment for a luxurious nursery, with plenty of space for the growing baby collection. Also, with the birth of their daughter, they have a whole new set of responsibilities, as parents, and they’ve embraced the role wholeheartedly. Hopefully, this will be the start of many happy years for the couple and their growing family!

From Twilight To Solo Adulthood

Let’s get back to our regularly scheduled programming now, shall we? It wasn’t long ago that we were freaking out about the news of Robert Pattinson’s engagement to Fanny Almeida, a French woman 16 years his junior, who he met while filming the vampire movie, Twilight. Since then, the couple have been very busy trying to make the relationship work, and they’ve been happily married for over a year now. It seems like the world is finally treating them well, considering what they’ve been through. Even the famous Spanish journalist, Javier Casanova, wrote a book about their relationship, called Adulthood Begins at 50: How to Be a Full-Fledged Adult While Still Being the Person You Were Born To Be. The book is currently number one on Madrid’s bestseller list.

It was a romantic story made famous by the fact that the couple met while filming Twilight. After Breaking Dawn, the final installment in the Twilight Saga, wrapped production, the cast and crew went on a group vacation to Paris, which is where they first laid eyes on each other. Several months later, in April 2013, Robert Pattinson finally proposed, and Fanny accepted. She is now the proud mother of two children, a son, Lucius, who will be three in October, and a daughter, Mary, who will be one the following month. The couple’s busy schedule means they rarely get a chance to enjoy a romantic date night, but they make up for it with family outings and outings with friends. They also really cherish the time they get to spend with their children, teaching them to appreciate literature, art, and music.

What will the future hold for Robert Pattinson? He hasn’t quite shaken off his tabloid superstar status, and he’ll always be famous for playing Edward Cullen in Twilight. However, he’s already started a new relationship with an incredible woman, Fanny, and the future does seem incredibly bright. Let’s just hope he spends some time with his family, and enjoys the milestones that motherhood brings!

A Classic Look From The Past

It’s odd to think that it’s been over a decade since we’ve seen Robert Pattinson last on the big screen, in the form of his iconic Twilight character. Back in 2008, he made his film debut as Edward Cullen in the movie adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight, and ever since then, he’s been pretty much absent from the big screen. Sure, there were cameo appearances in several films and TV series, along with a highly anticipated upcoming appearance in the final installment of the Twilight Saga, On the Road to Happiness. But other than that, it’s been a very quiet ten years, for the most part. However, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy, as he’s been making the most of his newfound freedom, and taking part in a diverse range of projects. He’s even done some incredible work behind the scenes, gaining invaluable experience for the future. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen anything quite like it!

To celebrate this incredible decade, we’re taking a trip back in time, to revisit some of the most important facts and figures from his incredible career. And what better way to do that than by looking back at some of the most iconic photos from the past ten years? Let’s get started.

One Of The Most Influential Artists Of Our Time

If you’re reading this, I assume you know who Robert Pattinson is, or at least, who he was. He’s one of the most recognizable faces in the world, mostly thanks to his role as Edward Cullen in Twilight. In addition to being one of the most important figures in modern fiction, he’s also one of the most influential artists in the world. Not many people can say that they’ve had a significant impact on contemporary art, and it’s largely to do with his incredible maturation as an artist over the past ten years. He’s had quite the journey, to say the least.

When Twilight was first released, it received mixed reviews from critics, but it was an immediate commercial success. Many young people found that the story of a young man falling in love, even if it was with a fictional character, was relatable. It wasn’t long before Twilight became a cultural phenomenon, and it spawned countless sequels and prequels, as well as a wave of imitators and rip-offs. For many, it was a taste of fame and fortune that they could never hope for, and it was only a matter of time before they were completely consumed by the craze.

Perhaps it’s only natural that, as time went on, and the craze died down, that the initial fascination would give way to complacency. Few people would now try to live their life by the principles of a fictional character, particularly someone as iconic as Edward. It’s not that he doesn’t exist anymore, but that he isn’t relevant any longer, certainly not in the same way he was at the height of the Twilight frenzy. To see Pattinson now is to know that there is indeed a ‘twiglet’ in the ‘twilight’ family tree, and she is indeed a mini version of her incredibly famous grandfather, King George. In the same way that Edward brought an element of glamour and sophistication to fictional teenagers, so too does Louisa. It’s quite the legacy, and it’s an incredible achievement to have had such a profound effect on popular culture, particularly in the past decade. It would be fair to say that, from a professional perspective, he’s had an incredible impact on his craft, and it’s been an honor to work with him over the years.
