You’ve probably never heard of Robert Pattinson. But if you’re a fan of action movies or just want to know what the hype is about, then you need to check out his movies. He’s probably best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies, but he’s also appeared in films like House of Gucci and The Losers. But it was his performance as Scott Summers in the X-Men movies that really put him on the map. That was back in 2000, and he’s been appearing in films ever since. Most recently, he’s been acting in independent American films, like Midnight in Paris, The Heat, and The Lost City, or playing roles in more recent Hollywood releases, such as The Great Gatsby and the Divergent movies.

But it wasn’t always like this. In fact, if we go back a few years, then we can see that Rob Pattinson wasn’t exactly the most popular guy in Hollywood. For the first part of his acting career, he had to settle for supporting roles in blockbusters. He even had to share some of these films with renowned Hollywood director Roman Polanski. He would play the romantic interest of a powerful woman, or the heroic lead in an adventure movie. In these films, he was usually the good guy, fighting off bad guys and saving the day. But no one really noticed him.

Then, in the mid-2000s, he decided to take a different route. He moved away from traditional blockbusters and decided to make more adult-oriented films. Some people might consider these to be a step down, but he’s always wanted to play some of the more interesting, complex roles that Hollywood has to offer. And he’s certainly made the most of it. In the last few years, he’s been appearing in some amazing romantic comedies, playing the lead role in several of them. Even though these are still very mainstream films, they’re all at least a little different from what you might expect. Here are some of the ways that Rob Pattinson took Hollywood by storm.

The Romantic Comedies

It’s hard to believe, but it’s been over 10 years since Twilight came out. Since then, Robert Pattinson has played some of the most interesting characters in Hollywood. It all began with Edward Cullen in Twilight. The brooding vampire hero of the Twilight Saga is hardly the most popular character in the franchise, but he’s arguably the most interesting. Edward is more conflicted than most action heroes, and he has a fascinating inner monologue. As a result, he’s become one of the most popular figures on social media, with over 77 million followers on Twitter and Facebook. As for Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight books, she’s now published 15 novels, as well as numerous award-winning short stories. Her most recent book, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, was published in 2016. Since Twilight, Robert Pattinson has appeared in films like Beautiful Creatures, Water for Elephants, and The Great Gatsby. He’s shown up on TV in shows like The Handmaid’s Tale and Mozart in the Jungle, and he’s even lent his voice to a few video games. So it’s no wonder that fans have been waiting for new material from Meyer for so long.

It turns out that they didn’t have to wait very long. In the past few years, Meyer and her team at Little, Brown and Company have published a number of short stories, as well as an audio drama based on a true story about a boy raised by wolves. The team behind the audio drama call themselves ‘Boyfriends’, and they include some of the writers who’ve worked with Meyer on the Twilight and The Handmaid’s Tale franchises, as well as a couple of newbies, like David Slade, the director of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and its upcoming sequel, The Twilight Saga: Winter Reign. Slade and co-writer Jon Taylor have taken inspiration from the true story of Carl Semenko, a man who spent over 20 years caring for his two young nephews after their mother’s death. The boys were raised by wolves until they were 4 and 5 years old, when their aunt and uncle took them in. But they returned to living amongst the beasts when the uncle remarried and had his own children.

Carl, as the boys’ guardian, was determined to protect them from a man-made world, so he kept them away from phones, TVs, and other forms of technology. But he knew that they needed to learn to be independent adults in order to survive in the real world. So he enrolled them in a computer class, where they learned how to use a mouse and keyboard. Over time, he taught them how to program, and he even started a small business, designing websites and apps. He also worked with them to develop their social skills. He wanted them to be able to communicate with people, and believed that a remote control helicopter could be their ‘greatest invention’. It’s no wonder that David Slade and Jon Taylor, along with the rest of the Boyfriends team, were so inspired by Carl Semenko when they were writing this story. They wanted to tell an authentic, touching, and incredibly funny story about family, friendship, and technology. And they definitely succeeded. The result is a truly unique and amazing story about a boy who learns to be a man through technology and the wilderness.

If you’ve never heard of Carl Semenko, then you should probably make it a point to find out more about him. He’s a fascinating character in real life, as well as on the page. Even if you’re not into comics, you should still be able to find some interesting facts about him in a biography. And who knows – maybe you’ll even learn how to program a mouse or two along the way! For more information, you can also check out this great interview with Carl Semenko from The Mid-week Magazine. And if you really want to get to know the character, you can always read his blog, which he started in 2012. But why wait? You can find all of Carl Semenko’s works online, in one place, for the whole world to enjoy.

These days, Rob Pattinson is mostly known for his work on the big screen. But as we’ve established, he’s been doing some amazing things behind the scenes as well. The biggest achievement of his career, however, might be what happened during the making of The Lost City. Even though it was completely improvised, it still managed to surprise everyone who saw it. It was released in theaters earlier this year, and although it wasn’t exactly a hit with audiences, it did really well with critics and became one of Rob Pattinson’s best movies. It also marked the first time that he played a dual role in a film. Most recently, he starred in the Netflix original film The Night Life, which was directed by and stars Giovanni Ribisi. And after wrapping production on Night Life, he’ll next be seen in the action-adventure film The Divergent Series: Ascendant (2019), based on the young adult novel of the same name by Veronica Roth. But, of course, you might know him best for his role as Scott Summers in the X-Men movies, which were directed by Bryan Singer and came out in the early 2000s.
