Robert Pattinson is Engaged to FKA Twigs?

Looks like Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs may be set to wed after all! The couple were recently spotted on a romantic date night out in London, England. According to a London tabloid, the couple had a “wedding date” and were subsequently photographed holding hands while celebrating at a nearby restaurant.

The publication also claimed that they had hired a wedding planner and that the wedding would take place next year. However, the photographer who snapped the pictures said that the photos were merely a “promise to wed” and that he had no idea if the couple actually ended up getting hitched or not.

Pattinson has been dating the 28-year-old English singer for more than a year. Back in April 2019, the “Good Will Hunting” star proposed to Twigs while the two were on holiday in Majorca, Spain. The couple were then photographed enjoying an intimate night of romance at a luxurious hotel. While the proposal was very romantic, it was also a bit chaotic, with some bystanders crying after hearing the news.

Rumors that the two were secretly engaged first surfaced in May 2019 when they were seen holding hands at the Louvre in Paris, France. It was then reported that the designer Kate Moss was hired to design their wedding cake.

“They are so cute together,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “They hold hands even when they are apart, which shows how much they care for each other. They also spend a lot of time together, whether they are in New York or Paris. They definitely get along better than most celebrity couples.”

While the two have spent a lot of time together over the last year, they have both been vocal about the fact that their relationship is very much a “secret”. In a podcast interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Twigs said that she and Pattinson had to “play a game” for more than a year before anyone found out about their relationship. She described their bond as a “beautiful, real romance” that is “kept separate” from the public eye.

“We had to keep our relationship a secret for so long, just to see if we could keep it,” she said. “Even now, people ask questions about us all the time, and we just want to keep our personal life as private as possible.”

Pattinson and Twigs have been spotted together in public several times since May 2019. Most notably, they were seen holding hands and looking very lovey-dovey at the 2019 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California, in September 2019. One of the couple’s most recent public appearances came just a few days ago, as they were both spotted walking their dogs in matching outfits.

Twigs was nominated in the top female vocalist category for the 2019 CMA Awards because of her song “Expectations”, which she performed alongside Dua Lipa. Lipa performed alongside Janelle Monae and Miley Cyrus at the 2019 Grammy Awards, and was subsequently nominated for album of the year for her album “Heard It In A Rumor”. At the 2019 CMA Awards, Twigs performed a duet with Lipa called “Mad World”, which was released as a single earlier this year.

Will They Wed?

It’s been quite the rollercoaster of a year for Robert Pattinson. After six years of being engaged to Kelly Brook, the Twilight Saga star finally got hitched to musician and artist Mariz Curiel in June 2018.
