If you’re a fan of the “Twilight” series or just love celebrities, then you might remember seeing the latest addition to the Cullen family, Robert Pattinson. Pattinson is the son of actors Peter and Vanessa and has been a fixture in the teen/young-adult fantasy series since its premiere in 2008. The British-born actor most recently appeared in the sequel “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which was released last year.

Pattinson has been open about his love for Twilight, tweeting in late February that he is “still in awe of @StephenieMeade for writing such an incredible series.” In the same interview, he also said that he has been a big fan of the author since before she was famous.

The handsome 28-year-old actor is also a major style icon. Vanity Fair called him “the most stylish British actor of his generation,” while Glamour said, “There’s no denying that @robertpattinson rocks some major style.” We couldn’t agree more.

Here, we’re going to take a look at his stunning style evolution over the years. Let’s start off with his early beginnings…

Early Beginnings

Pattinson was born in London in 1985 and raised in Scotland. After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to study at the prestigious Hazelwood School of Visual Arts, he soon began working in fashion. He did editorial work for a number of blogs and websites, including Teen Vogue and Vogue.com. In late 2007, he landed the role of Christian Grey in the film adaptation of “Grey,” a romance novel written by the same name author. The following year, he appeared in the dark comedy “Wedding Singer.” In 2010, Pattinson starred in the musical comedy “Fun,” which was followed by “Bel Ami,” the French-language version of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”

While his films have mostly been romantic comedies and dramas, he’s also done some musicals. In 2012, he starred in “Les Miserables” as the charming and handsome convict Jean Valjean. He played the dual role of King George and Queen Victoria’s grandson in the 2014 film “Finding Neverland.” In 2017, Pattinson took on the role of an emotionally distant rocker in the drama series “Godless” and starred in the historical drama “Guarding Vanessa.”

Pattinson’s Look

The style icon first attracted attention for his distinctive facial hair. After being cast as Christian Grey in “Grey,” he sported a soul patch. Later in the year, he added an earring, a mustache, and a goatee to his look. He continued adding accessories to his look throughout the rest of the decade. While he’s been known for his quirky fashion choices in the past, recent looks have been more traditional. He’s worn suits, pocket parks, and even a wedding veil.

In 2012, he began sporting a close-shaven look and continued shaving off his hair until he reached a full and perfect ‘do. Since then, the star has remained relatively conservative in his fashion choices. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him sport a soul patch or an earring, but he’s still fond of a colorful tie and a patterned shirt.

Vanessa’s daughter from her previous marriage, Liza Kiefer-Steiner, has also been seen sporting some of her father’s style. She too has been known to sport a mustache and a full head of hair as of late. Some of her outfits even feature a high collar similar to that worn by Christian Grey. It seems as though Robert Pattinson has been paying close attention to his mother when it comes to fashion. Maybe he’s taking after her side of the family more than he’s ever let on?

Whether or not you’re a fan of Robert Pattinson’s filmography, it’s undeniable that he’s one of the most stylish men in Hollywood. What’s more, he’s one of the most eligible bachelors in the industry.
