After months of paparazzi frenzy, the day finally came when Robert Pattinson officially returned to his home town of Detroit. The actor and singer arrived in the city on Thursday afternoon, and was spotted walking towards his hotel, the Bentley Hotel, as he made his entrance into the city. He was dressed casually in a black shirt, jeans and sneakers. He carried a black bag, with his name embossed on the strap.

The 28-year-old British hunk is said to be staying at the hotel, though there is no confirmation as of yet. The hotel is located in downtown Detroit, and is easily accessible from both the Amtrak and Detroit Airport. The star will be staying in one of the hotel’s 19th century guest rooms.

Where Can I See Him?

Pattinson’s visit to the Motor City will be documented in a documentary about the actor’s life entitled Believe. The documentary, which will cover his entire career, is set to premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. On Friday night, the actor and his crew will hold a press conference at the Ryman Auditorium. This will be followed by a live chat with fans on Facebook.

While in the city, Pattinson will be attending various film festivals and events. On Saturday, he will be at the State Fairgrounds for the Metro Detroit Film Festival. The following day, he will be at the Palace Theatre for the Detroit Opera House’s Musical Theatre Festival. He will then head to the suburbs to spend the night at the Fisherman’s Landing in the Detroit suburb of West Bloomfield. On Monday, August 22nd, he will have a private showing of Believe at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

What Will He be Doing?

The documentary Believe will give viewers a glimpse into Pattinson’s personal life. We will learn about his upbringing and how it influenced his acting. The film traces his journey from London to Los Angeles and back again. It will also look at his love life and the numerous women he has dated (which includes Katy Perry, Emily Blunt and Amber Heard).

The documentary follows Pattinson as he works on his next project, an album of British classics. He recently released a song called “Come Back To Me” on his official Twitter account, and performed a couple of dates in the UK. He also teased the release of his new album, tentatively titled Pattinson, in March 2017.

The film will be shot by acclaimed director Brett Ratner, who has previously worked with the singer on Rushmore and the forthcoming Trolls World Tour. Ratner recently revealed that he considered Pattinson for the role of Elton John in his film Rocketman, but the role went to Gary Oldman. When asked about the possibility of directing an interview with Pattinson for the Sunday newspapers, Ratner said: “I don’t know if I could ever bring myself to do an interview like that. I would love to. It would be an honor to collaborate with him even though he is a recluse. I would love to hear his side of the story.”
