In a recent interview with the press, actor Robert Pattinson discussed his diet and exercise habits. According to the English actor, he has lost 40 pounds since January of this year and is currently in the process of dropping more weight. Pattinson stated that he is trying to adopt a new lifestyle and diet, and that he has successfully rid himself of many of his bad habits.

Recently, Pattinson was seen sporting some rather large tattoos on his arms, as well as a full-body cast due to injury. Despite these apparent changes, the actor looks completely different from his Twilight days. Gone are the bright colours and oversized fits, replaced by a much more minimalist approach to fashion and lifestyle. Diet And Exercise
When asked about his diet and exercise habits, Pattinson stated that he had tried a lot of different things in the past, but had never stuck to anything for very long. The Twilight starlet admitted that she had been on a vegan diet for about two years when she played Bella Swan in the movie, believing it to be good for her skin. Afterward, though, she switched to a mostly vegetarian diet, which she practices to this day.
“I went through a phase of trying to cut out as many of the foods as I could, especially the sugary stuff. When I had finished The Twilight Saga, I was doing a lot of running around London,” Pattinson recalled. “I was very thin and thought that was what I wanted to keep for the rest of my life. I was definitely in the best shape of my entire life at that point. Unfortunately, that wasn’t to be.”
Pattinson suffered a stress fracture in his leg and had to take a break from exercising. Since returning to the gym, the actor has focused on strength training and building his muscles back up. The starlet also started using supplementation products like whey protein and vitamin D to help her stay at her best. As for what he might eat on a night out, Pattinson stated that he usually has a salad or fish at the Ivy Restaurant in London. When asked what kind of workout he did to get back in shape, the actor replied: “I do a lot of sit-ups and push-ups, as well as taking my bike out for a spin.”
