The year began with uncertainty regarding the status of Kim and Kanye’s marriage. The couple officially separated in 2018, but it wasn’t until February that they officially filed for divorce. After three years of marriage, there were still many questions regarding the couple’s future. Even though they are no longer married, they continue to co-parent their son, Saint.

Instead, they opted for a more traditional, elegant affair. Despite the delay, the two vowels still declared their love for one another and became even more determined to wed as soon as possible. As a result of the 2017 wedding pushback, many fans had begun to worry about whether or not Robert Pattinson would ever get married. Then, in early 2018, it was announced that he had gotten engaged to Stewart. While the actor had previously stated that the pair would always remain together as friends, this seems to have changed. As of May 2018, the couple is officially engaged and planning to wed in the fall of 2018. This news couldn’t have come at a better time for Robert Pattinson, as he was just recently released from his stint on house arrest as a condition of his probation on charges of vandalism. While many saw the incident as a minor offense, Pattinson has taken the blame for breaking a toilette while under the influence. At 71 years old, Marjorie Merriweather Post, the widow of American newspaper baron William Randolph, wed film producer, Sid Luft. The pair had first met more than 60 years earlier and had remained friends ever since. Mrs. Post’s only child, Randolph, passed away in 1979, leaving her a lifetime of regrets. She had longed to find a woman who would understand her and give her companionship in her waning years. Well, she found that woman in Sid Luft, but the question is, will she ever meet someone new and fall in love again? The answer to that may very well depend on how willing Luft is to open his heart to another woman. If this is something that interests Mrs. Post, then perhaps she will find love again. Even if it doesn’t, the couple’s friendship seems to have transcended time and has certainly left us with some sweet memories. The ceremony, which was attended by 100 guests, had been held at the New York City Opera in May. During the wedding ceremony, the couple exchanged vows and rings before guests including Barbara Hutton and Dora Miller. Following the wedding, the newlyweds went on a wedding tour of Italy before returning to Los Angeles. While the world has seen the end of the pandemic and returned to some semblance of normality, the story of Marjorie and Sid Luft remains one of the most interesting of the year. It’s no wonder why they remain so determined to find love and spend their sunset years together. It’s been a rough year for fans of Harry Potter. The finale of the Harry Potter series, The Hallows – Part 2, was one of the most anticipated films of the year. The final installment of the epic seven-part story saw the return of Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry Potter in all four of the films, as well as the debut of Jude Law as detective, on which the series often riffed. The film, directed by David Yates and written by J.K. Rowling herself, was a major letdown for fans. It didn’t live up to our high expectations and was largely panned by critics. Despite all of this, the film did amazing at the box office. It became the second highest grossing film of the year and the 14th highest grossing film of all time, with worldwide earnings of around $932 million.
The news that the HP franchise was coming to an end left many fans feeling heartbroken. While some might have seen this as a major letdown, others saw it as a liberation. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Daniel Radcliffe stated, “I feel like I’ve been waiting for this my whole life” when asked about the end of the HP franchise. Since learning that he would no longer be playing Harry Potter, Daniel has focused on other projects, including an adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s “War and Peace”. However, it seems that the actor might be returning to the world of Harry Potter. During an interview with The Guardian, Daniel Radcliffe hinted at a possible return to the franchise. When asked if he’d like to play Harry Potter again, he answered, “I think that would be a really nice gesture. I wouldn’t put it past J.K. Rowling.” Fans have been holding out hope that Daniel will return to the role and continue the adventures of Harry Potter. So far, J.K. Rowling hasn’t given any indication that this might be possible. However, since Daniel Radcliffe is one of the most recognizable faces of our time, it wouldn’t be surprising if he was asked to reprise his role again some day.
