While we have known since the start of this year that Robert Pattinson was going to be busy, we have yet to fully understand what he has planned. Well, now it’s clear: The movie star has revealed the entire schedule for 2010, and it’s certainly exciting!
New Music
The musician will be attending several high profile concerts this year, including the UK’s largest music event, the Summer Slam in London. He will also be performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the US, which is considered to be one of the biggest in the world. On May 31, he will be headlining the Prada Fashion Night Out in New York City.
Pattinson has said that he will mostly be listening to old-school artists such as The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles. He has also named a few up-and-coming bands which he thinks are worth checking out, such as Kings of Leon and Paramore.
The only event that Pattinson has revealed that he won’t be able to attend is the Austin City Limits Music Festival. However, there are many other concerts that the actor can be seen at, which we have compiled a list of below.
Movies
2010 is shaping up to be a very big year for Pattinson. The Twilight Saga: New Moon is due for release in March, followed by a pair of Harry Potter spin-offs in July and October. We will then see the actor take on the role of Batman in next year’s version of The Dark Knight, due for release in July 2011.
He has also revealed that he has been working hard on his acting skills, which will no doubt come in handy for his new movies. On the acting front, 2010 will also see him star in an adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s classic novel, The du Maurier Mystery, as well as Don DeLillo’s The Gambler. He has reportedly said that he would like to play more characters with’sunny dispositions’, as he feels that he has enough darker roles to play.
