The year 2022 will mark the 10th anniversary of Twilight, arguably the most successful film franchise of all time. To celebrate this landmark year, several of the movie’s stars are set to come together for a special limited-edition LP, aptly titled the @*millionaire*@ Twilight Mega-Sale. The album will be available to purchase on Dec 5th 2022 and features previously unreleased tracks from the series’ iconic members. One of the special guests on this collection is none other than Robert Pattinson himself. The film star has recorded a beautiful lullaby for his baby boy, which he shares with his fans on Twitter.

The Lullaby Was Recorded At El Rey

The lullaby was co-written and co-recorded by Pattinson with Grammy-award-winning songwriter Justin Timberlake. According to the film star, the two writers were inspired by the traditional English folk song, Johnny Ringo. As the legend goes, Ringo was jailed for his opposition to the English taxation system in the late 1700s. It was while in prison that Ringo began writing his famous ballads, including the haunting Johnny Ringo. The song is now considered to be one of the most recognizable and beloved English folk songs of all time. Like Johnny Ringo, Pattinson’s lullaby is a passionate plea for fiscal sanity and fair tax policy. It also invokes the American Revolution for good measure, with the line, “They can’t take away our rights, they can’t break up our families, they can’t jail our leaders.”

Pattinson’s Lullaby Is A Masterpiece

Pattinson’s debut album, Just Like Heaven, was released in 2018 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. The album featured the singles, “Happy,” “Waves,” and “Boys Will Be Boys.” The third track on the album, “Believe Me,” was originally recorded for the Twilight soundtrack and marked the first time that the singer had ever collaborated with a songwriter on an album. “Believe Me” went on to become one of the most popular songs of the year, and won Songwriter of the Year at the 2022 Grammy Awards. The song also won Song of the Year at the 2020 Academy Awards.

It’s Been A Memorable Year For Pattinson

Pattinson has dominated headlines in 2022 due to his wedding to movie director LUCY. The celebrity couples’ lavish, country wedding, which took place on July 12th in the US, was followed by an extravagant honeymoon trip to Italy. The year began with a performance at the Sundance Film Festival in January and concluded with a star-studded gala for the premiere of Lucy’s latest movie, titled The Party.

Pattinson’s Lullaby Belongs On Record

Pattinson’s talents as a songwriter and vocalist are undeniable, and it’s no secret that he has a great affinity for romantic ballads. His love of English folk music is also evident in his choice of albums title, Just Like Heaven, as well as in the fact that much of the music on these albums is in the English folk genre. His choice of Justin Timberlake as the co-writer of his son’s lullaby is also somewhat predictable, given Timberlake’s track record of writing for and collaborating with high-profile musicians and movie stars. What is perhaps most surprising about this particular project is Pattinson’s willingness to share this sensitive ballad with the world. It’s a testament to both his songwriting and vocal talent that “Believe Me” resonated with fans and became one of the biggest songs of the year, outselling even multi-platinum albums by the biggest pop stars in the industry. The ballad is also guaranteed to put a smile on your face no matter what kind of day you’re having. So whether you need a quick pick-me-up or just want to hear some beautiful music, this is the perfect lullaby for your ears.
