Robert Pattinson has been a busy man over the past few years. In 2012, he was named Sexiest Man Alive, and since then, he has consistently been named one of the most attractive men in movies and TV. Now 41 years old, the British actor has worked hard to maintain his perfect looks, and he’s used several different diets and workout regimes to help with that.
While we can’t decide if he’s really achieved perfection or is just playing at it for our entertainment, it’s safe to say that he’s one of the most famous (and attractive) men in the world. He’s graced the cover of magazines around the world and has appeared in countless films and commercials. With a global fame that extends far beyond his years, it’s not that surprising that people are already asking about the new Batman movie now that Edward Norton has played the role twice.
The difference between the first and second Robert Pattinson Batman movies is that the second one was based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel, The Dark Knight Returns, and he played the role of Bruce Wayne more naturally. The first film is pretty good too, but in some ways, it’s a little awkward and doesn’t feel like the real thing.
So if you’re a big fan of Batman and have been waiting anxiously for news about the new film, here’s what you need to know about Batman R34 and R35.
First Official Photo
The first image we got of the new Batman was actually part of a cinematic poster featuring the entire cast. In it, we get our first glimpse of Robert Pattinson as Batman, and he looks very cool and collected as he stares at the camera. We can also see Alicia Vikander as Catwoman, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the Joker, with the rest of the cast in silhouette.
Pattinson was apparently a little worried about looking cool and composed, so he had some assistance with the photos. “I’ve never done a movie where I’ve been totally alone. Even on the set of the first Twilight, I had my best man by my side,” he said. “But the funny thing is, when I watch the finished film, I’ll probably be alone again. So it’ll be interesting to see how that feels.”
Story
Batman R34 and R35 are both officially called Batman Begins. The story is set six years before the events of The Dark Knight, with Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne still in the process of becoming Batman. Like the earlier Batman movies, this one is based on the comics and told in a non-linear fashion. So if you haven’t seen any of the other Batman movies, this one is going to throw you off a little bit. That said, if you have seen them (or even if you just want to read about the adventures of Bruce Wayne), you should have no problem following along.
General
The new Batman is not named after Christian Bale’s character from The Dark Knight. Instead, its name comes from the year it was released, 2013. The film was originally titled Batman Oblivion before it was changed for international release. This is also the first Batman movie to be filmed entirely in 3D. That means we get to see lots of cool 3D effects, like when Batman is gliding or climbing walls. It also makes everything look that little bit more realistic.
Premiere Date
The premiere of Batman Begins is set for May 25, 2013. This makes it the first movie to be released in the spring time since the 2006 premiere of The Bourne Ultimatum. So if you’re looking for a nice warm-weather vacation, this is the one to go for. You’ll have the opportunity to see lots of high-profile films before the end of the year, and who knows – maybe even win an award or two.
Cast
The new Batman stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne and was written and directed by Andy Dineo. It also stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, with Morgan Freeman as Jimmy Prichard, Alfred Pennyworth, and Robert Pattinson as Batman. The supporting cast includes Alicia Vikander as Catwoman, Luis Guzman as Lt. James Gordon, and Ezra Miller as Jerome Vane. Christian Bale was reportedly paid a whopping $20 million for this role.
Tagline
The new Batman tagline is, “A hero can be anyone.” It is a message that director Andy Dineo wanted the world to take away from this film and carry with them into the following year. “It’s about facing your own anxieties and insecurities and the kind of fears that keep you up at night,” Dineo added. “Bruce Wayne is a deeply flawed individual, but that’s what makes him interesting. This is a character study, and it’s about understanding why he chooses to be alone.”
Plot
After six years in stasis, Bruce Wayne has returned to Gotham City. The former billionaire has found himself unable to cope with the pressures of living in the public eye, and he decides to take a temporary leave of absence from being Batman so that he can get his life back on track. To that end, he hires a personal assistant, Alfred Pennyworth, to help him navigate the city’s dangerous streets. At first, Bruce feels somewhat nervous around Pennyworth, who has known him since he was a boy, but the two soon form a bond as they work through their issues. For the next few years, the former Dark Knight will retreat to his penthouse where he will wrestle with the demons of his past while trying to rebuild the city’s police department.

Analysis
It is no secret that Robert Pattinson is one of the most attractive men in Hollywood. However, fans of the Dark Knight might be surprised to learn that he has had a very successful career playing villains. Prior to becoming Batman, he played the character of Ra’s al Ghul in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. He then went on to play the Penguin in Batman Forever and the Green Goblin in the 2002 Spiderman movie. Now that he has played the superhero, he will most likely be typecast as he has no natural charisma as a human being. That said, it is still an extremely prestigious role to play, and it will likely propel him to even greater global stardom. The casting of Robert Pattinson as Batman is actually a compliment to his looks as he clearly possesses the perfect comic-book image desired by the film’s director, Andy Dineo.
