Robert Pattinson has a brand new film coming out this year called The Batman. The actor was recently interviewed by Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and he confirmed that The Batman will be released in theaters on December 19. This will be the second big-budget Hollywood film that Pattinson has been involved with after Twilight. The 31-year-old is finally getting some serious love and he couldn’t be happier. The Twilight star is reportedly extremely proud of him. In fact, he just took to Instagram to congratulate his co-star.
The Batman will be directed by Matt Reeves and it’s been a while since we’ve seen anything from him. Last year, he directed the upcoming BlacKkKlansman and just released his latest film, Walden, in theaters. The movie is based on the award-winning short story by American author Henry David Thoreau about a man who lives in isolation for several years in a cabin in the woods by himself. After confirming his involvement with the film, Reeves commented: “I’ve been a fan of Robert Pattinson since the first time I saw him in a movie. It’s great to see his journey as a solo performer come to life on the big screen. We’re honored to work with him on this project.”
On the subject of working with Reeves on The Batman, Pattinson had this to say: “It’s always a pleasure working with Matt. He’s just such a nice guy and a brilliant director. He has a real eye for detail and an incredible amount of creativity. Even when we’re not filming, I’m constantly thinking about the next shot and trying to come up with new ideas. Having someone like that around is a real advantage.”
The Batman will also star Ben Affleck as the title character and his former brother-in-law, Joel Kinnaman, will play an armed forces veteran who becomes the object of affection for Pattinson’s character. The screenplay for The Batman was written by award-winning author and screenwriter, William Monahan. Robert Pattinson Gets His Dream Job
Pattinson has been working hard to get to this point and it’s paid off. He finally got his dream job and he couldn’t be happier. Over the years, he’s built a solid reputation as a serious actor and he’s proven himself to be more than capable of holding his own against A-list celebrities. (It helps that he has an excellent fake mustache.)
The Twilight Saga films have made Pattinson very popular and earned him a devoted fan base. Most recently, he’s been spending a lot of time on Twitter, where he regularly interacts with his followers and shares tidbits from his personal life as well as movie-related news. He’s the perfect mix of witty humor and a charming personality. (Those who know him on the internet will recognize him instantly as the funny, friendly guy who plays games with his followers and occasionally drops some serious shade.)
What’s great about Pattinson’s involvement with The Batman is that it’ll finally give him the chance to show the world his other skillset. He’s appeared in a number of British comedies and dramas in addition to the Twilight films. Now that he’s a solo performer, we’re likely to see a lot more of him. The Batman will also introduce the world to Pattinson’s unique brand of humor. We can only hope that he uses more than one skill during the movie’s runtime. The Batman Will Be The Second Biggest Moneymaker For Reliable News
This year is shaping up to be a big one for Hollywood films, and not just because of Avengers: Endgame. The year began with several huge hit films that grossed over $1 billion at the box office. The LEGO Movie 2 and Toy Story 4 will both be on top of the charts for a long time thanks to their massive worldwide appeal. But the biggest success so far this year has been The Batman. (And it’s not even close.)
The Batman was the biggest grossing film of 2019 with an estimate of at least $850 million in worldwide earnings. That makes it the second biggest moneymaker of the year so far. The first was simply Red October, with an estimated $850 million. Now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves because there are still a ton of 2019 films to be released. But it’s safe to say that The Batman will be the biggest of them all.
The news media has kept up with the unprecedented success of The Batman by reporting on the unprecedented hype surrounding the movie. (We can assume that the tabloids will be doing their best to keep up with the latest developments surrounding the film.) There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not to expect a sequel. But with the film’s massive worldwide gross, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Pattinson return for another adventure.
With The Batman making such a huge impact at the box office, it’s clear that Reeves and company have something special. Not only did they make one of the year’s biggest films, but they also made a lot of money while doing it. The question is: Will they make more?
