We’ve seen actors change their names to play characters in their favorite films. Will Robert Pattinson ever play the part of the notorious Batman?

The Hollywood actor is best known for his portrayal of the tragic figure of the Twilight series. While he’s frequently been linked to the role of Batman in fan-fiction and rumors, Pattinson has never officially confirmed that he’s interested in playing the Dark Knight. He has described the character as “a very elusive person,” adding that he finds the idea of portraying him “enthralling.”

However, Batman is not the only character that Pattinson has expressed interest in playing. He has also expressed desire to play the part of the Joker, in part because of his fascination with the character. Joker is one of the most popular and iconic characters of the Batman universe. He was first introduced in the 1950s and has since then gone on to appear in multiple films and animated series. Joker is best known for his raucous laughter and his dark sense of humor. He is also one of the few characters that can match Batman in terms of movie star presence.

Where Will Batman Appear In The Future?

It seems unlikely that Batman will ever become a full-time member of the LAPD. The Dark Knight has been a feature of American culture for more than 80 years now, so it would seem that the world is well-served by his presence. Still, there have been calls for Batman to appear in films set in Europe. One of the most promising projects would be a French production called Les Tucés du Vampire. The film follows a group of slacker vampires who have to live up to their blood-sucking reputation. It was first adapted for screen in 1994. If you’ve never heard of the film, that’s probably because it hasn’t been released in English-speaking countries yet. (As of October 2017, it has been reported that the film has finally been given an MPAA rating of R-18 for “strong language, pervasive violence, and sexual content.”)

The film’s story follows three friends who witness a murder and decide to use their wits to outwit the killer. With the help of a sexy French chick who can be both a friend and an agent, the three manage to stay one step ahead of the game. It’s not really a place that you’d put your feet up and relax, but it’s certainly inspired enough to become a home for Batman and his team. (Incidentally, the original name of the film was Les Vampires, which is French for “the vampires.”)

Other regions that have called for Batman’s presence include Latin America and Africa. Both regions have produced fan-fiction and rumors about Batman and other superheroes teaming up to combat crime. The idea of a team-up between the World’s Greatest Detective and the Dark Knight is, to say the least, intriguing. Still, it would seem that these calls are more about providing a chance for Latin American and African filmmakers to tell their stories than about providing the films with a quality that would guarantee commercial success.

Ultimately, it’s not really about providing a plot for a film. What’s important is that the character and the story remain an inspiration for generations of creators.
