The movie is based on the 1981 John Grisham novel and will star Nicole Kidman, Chris Cooper, and Robert Pattinson. After years of being typecast as a villain, Cooper will finally get to show off his comedic skills, and Kidman will show off her acting chops as the matriarch of a clan of ruthless criminals.
In the movie, Kidman will play a character named Vivien Leigh, and she’ll be accompanied by her daughters Jessica and Grace. While in Italy for a holiday, Vivien meets a British man named Alfred Lutter, and the two hit it off. Kidman’s character and Lutter’s character will develop an attraction to one another, even though they are both married. The actress is fully committed to making this character feel like a real person, even though she’s played by a Hollywood star.
