Robert Pattinson, the British actor who plays the lead in the new movie, The Lost Years of Grace Kelly, has a message for fans. He’s asking them to show their breasts so the movie can be rated R-Patd.
The movie is a biopic about Kelly, the wife of U.S. President John F. Kennedy. It premieres in theaters on April 20th, but fans can see a sneak preview tomorrow night (4/19) at the Laemmle Monica Bay cinema in Santa Monica, California.
And yes, the Twilight actor is very aware that Kelly had to have her breasts pumped for the sake of the movie. He’s not ashamed to admit it. In fact, in a funny promotional video for the film, he shows off his chest implant and brags that he could lift up his shirt and expose himself to the camera.
“Do you know what would make this movie a bit more real for me? I really want to see some boobs,” he said in the video. “I think it would add a lot to the film. So if you have some, I’d love to see them. That’s all I’m asking. Be a good girl and show me your tits.”
Curious George, Monkey See
Let’s be honest. All we want from an R-Patd movie are good-looking women with giant tits. That’s it. What man wouldn’t want to see that?
The only problem is that the majority of these women don’t want to show their breasts to men. Especially not strange men in movies.
Case in point: Pattinson’s former flame, the stunning, Swedish actress and singer, Alicia Keys. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said that she wouldn’t do anything to promote the film because she doesn’t like her body. When asked if she would show her breasts in the movie, she answered, “No. I don’t like my breasts. I’m very flattered that men like my breasts, but I don’t ever want to show them. Men are very different in how they see women. It’s something to do with feminism, I think. Nowadays, women are much more comfortable in their bodies than men are. They’re much more used to seeing female bodies. And I don’t want to ruin that.”
Pattinson isn’t the only famous man to ask a woman to flash her tits. Back in March, Elton John told reporters it would be “phenomenal” if Lady Gaga would show her tits in a movie. And in November, the rapper, 50 Cent, urged the world to vote for Donald Trump because he thinks the president-elect will be good for the hip-hop community. Can you imagine if Trump made good on his promises and actually gave us all big government bailout packages? We could finally see some lovely, big-titted ladies strutting their stuff in glorious lingerie! (Okay, okay, I’ll stop now.)
So let’s stop pretending that these famous men only want to see sexy, voluptuous women. They want to see everyone’s boobs. And they’re not just interested in a photo shoot. They want to see us as someone’s girlfriend or wife. They want to see us in a way that makes them feel like a part of the story. If we want to be a part of pop culture and the media, we’ve got to start showing more than just our breasts. Or better yet, just our nipples. Because that’s all most men care about.
