Robert Pattinson and Phoebe Tonkin might be one of the most adorable celebrity couples of all time. The ‘Spiderman’ actor and the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ pro dancer have been romantically involved for years now and have two gorgeous kids together. Naturally, the constant pitter-patter of baby footsteps is a dream come true for every parent. In fact, the actor even proposed to the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ professional back in 2017. They tied the knot in a breathtaking wedding ceremony at the end of that year and have been living happily ever since.

While their love story is undoubtedly a happy one, it doesn’t seem to be without its fair share of drama. The couple’s relationship was rocked when Phoebe revealed she had cheated on Rob with British model Imogen Broom. The two women previously collaborated on some AW18 photoshoots, which means they had ample opportunity to get to know each other better. However, there is still speculation as to whether or not they were actually intimate, given that none of the pictures showed any signs of physical intimacy. Nevertheless, Phoebe confessed she and Rob had “made love” and the affair was ultimately confirmed by her ex-boyfriend Luke Hemmings.

While the world grieved over this heartbreaking news, the two incredibly devoted parents decided to press on with their lives and started work on their joint music album. The project finally saw the light of day in October last year and they have since been taking the opportunity to share new songs with their legions of fans.

The Gifs

The artist formerly known as ‘SPI-RA SASSOON’ is the musical project of Robert Pattinson. The album’s title is an acronym created by the English actor and it stands for ‘Songs For Suicidal Artists, Self-Harming Ocelots, and Sparkling Samurai’. The first single ‘Savior’, a pounding electro-rock track, was released on 14 October last year and reached number one on the Billboard Pop Digital Song Sales chart. As you’d expect from a song written by one of the most successful rock stars of this generation, ‘Savior’ is a celebration of pure unadulterated rock ‘n’ roll.

One of the album’s highlights is undoubtedly the gorgeous duet ‘In The Shadows’. The lyrics for this track are, in fact, also the lyrics to one of the best rock songs ever written: “Love Is A Battlefield”, by The Doors. Appropriately, it comes after the amazing, spine-tingling guitar solo that closes out the superb ‘Love Is A Battlefield’. The track, which is an homage to the late Carlos Santana, who also appears on the album, is a celebration of harmony and balance and a clear favorite among fans of the 45-year-old actor.

Phoebe Tonkin

Phoebe Tonkin rose to fame as the sweetheart in the teen comedy series ‘Love Actually’. Since then, she has gone on to become one of the most in-demand actresses of our time, starring in films such as ‘The Intern’, ‘The Crocodile’, and the upcoming ‘The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortellaro’ and ‘The House Of Gucci’.

Besides being an actress, Phoebe is also a singer-songwriter and dancer. Most notably, she contributed two songs to the 2018 film ‘Booksmart’, one of which was the Academy Award-nominated song “Simple Song”. This was followed by her solo single “Higher”, which she released in April 2019 and is now in the Top 40 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

On the other side of town, another one of Pattinson’s beautiful children, Lily Rose, also released a solo single in April 2019. Titled “Dazzling”, the song is sweet and innocent but has a real pop edge to it. In fact, it was the final song on her debut album, whose songs she wrote and co-produced with her twin brother, Tom, and his band, the Civil Wars.

Pattinson is also the father of Stormi Webster, born in 2012, and her younger brother, Jakob, who was born in 2016. These days, the actor mostly keeps a low profile but does turn up in unexpected places. In 2019, he made a surprise appearance at the Golden Globes, accepting their Cecil B. DeMille Award on behalf of his wife and kids. “This is a dream come true,” he said. “To be here, amongst the great films and great filmmakers of all time, it’s incredible. I love you guys.”

Meanwhile, Phoebe Tonkin is also a dream come true for any parent. The singer-songwriter is best known for lending her voice to several Disney films, including ‘Aladdin’ and ‘The Lion King’, but also appears in movies such as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Mullets’. She recently starred in the comedy series ‘Grace and Frankie’, which is scheduled to return for a third season in April.

These days, the two incredibly busy parents of two seem to be taking it easy. On Instagram, the couple share pictures of themselves vacationing with their kids. The next generation has certainly inherited their passion for dance. In fact, they may even have a few moves of their own to share with the world. Who knows? Maybe one day, these photos will grace the pages of a family newsletter.
