It was just a few short years ago that Robert Pattinson was the golden child of Hollywood. After making the right moves at the right time, he found fame and fortune at the age of 22 with the release of 2010’s Twilight, which became one of the most popular films of all time. Since then, he’s kept the public’s attention with a string of headline-making scandals and break-ups, most recently with singer Amber Heard. Now aged 27, the former heartthrob has found himself in a Hollywood rut.
Despite his recent string of failures, he’s still considered one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors. And it seems that, for some reason, he can’t quite get over actress Kristen Stewart. The two made headlines in 2019 when they were spotted together at Paris Fashion Week, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They were first linked in 2016 when they joined forces for a highly publicized PSA against domestic violence.

Romantic Proposal
Pattinson’s most dedicated fans might have been surprised to learn that their favorite actor hasn’t always been so lucky in love. The 27-year-old revealed in November 2019 that he’d proposed to Stewart during a romantic vacation to Venice. Before their trip to the Italian city, he bought her a diamond ring, which is now part of her collection.
The proposal came as a shock to the public because the couple had previously kept their relationship a secret. Days before the proposal, they were spotted walking together in Paris and have been inseparable ever since. It was an odd pairing, given that Stewart is 15 years his junior. “There are things that you want to keep private as a parent, and we think that it is best not to disclose too much about the little one,” she said.
Pattinson is already a hands-on father, acting as a shoulder to cry on for his newborn son. As he told Marie Claire, “I’m used to being an active father. I play a lot with him and take him on walks, so I think I’ll adjust pretty easily.”
A Bittersweet Future
While much of 2019 was a fairy tale for Pattinson and Stewart, the year was not at all happy for Amber Heard.
