The actress, 25, recently split from her longtime boyfriend of four years, Twilight star and New York native, Taylor Lautner. They were together for two years before deciding to call it quits in 2017.
Since then, Kristen has been dating musician and activist, Halsey. The singer confirmed the engagement in a series of heartfelt tweets on Thursday night, writing, “I’m so happy for Kristen. She deserved to be happy. She’s been through a lot. Love you sis.”
The couple’s announcement was celebrated on social media with fans sharing their excitement. Twitter user Justine Brown wrote, “I’m literally screaming right now. This is such wonderful news!!!”
