The following month, Stewart and Depp were joined by their respective family and friends when they celebrated their wedding anniversary at a lavish party in Paris. The cast of Twilight were there to support the newlywed couple, along with Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, and Joan Collins. And, as expected, the newlyweds had another fight – this time, over a game of croquet. But they made up soon after and continued to walk down the aisle as a couple.

While the media were busy speculating about the future of the Twilight franchise, Pattinson was busy tying the knot with his longtime love. His wedding to Emily Blunt in a beautiful English countryside was a fairytale come true for the avid Twilighters. Many of his famous friends and family members were present for the big day, including Gwyneth Paltrow and her two children.
Honeymoon To Athens
The newlywed couple hit the beach immediately after their wedding reception, with Pattinson jetting off to Greece with Blunt for their honeymoon. Their trip was filled with idyllic, romantic adventures and the occasional brawl. In one instance, Pattinson and Blunt got into a sword fight on the beach. She even stuck around to help him wash his hair after. How chivalrous!
The Next Big Fight And It’s Over
Unfortunately for the newlywed couple (and the audience), their idyllic honeymoon ended abruptly. After a brief layover in Athens, the newlyweds arrived in London to find that their bags had been lost by the airline. The couple was forced to stay in a hotel for a week until their belongings were delivered. This was a major blow to their already strained relationship, and it showed. Later that month, they had to argue their way through an engagement party in a Los Angeles parking lot before finally coming to an agreement and rekindling their love.
Royal Visit In Australia
In July, it was announced that the British couple were expecting their first child. The proud parents-to-be attended the Royal Baby Shower in London a few weeks later and, in early 2018, welcomed their first child, a girl. The baby’s middle name will be revealed at her christening in April.
Post-Twilight: Career Moves And Changes
While the Twilight movies remain popular—the fifth installment was the highest-grossing of all time—the former couple’s careers took different paths in the years that followed. While Stewart began acting in bigger and more ambitious films, Pattinson preferred to continue working in smaller independent productions.
