Rob Pattinson isn’t afraid to show off his fabulous hair, stunning smile, and bodacious physique. The British hunk has truly mastered the art of working out and eating healthy. Over the years, we’ve watched his weight fluctuate, from a lean 142 pounds to a flabby 195 pounds. In between seasons, we’ve seen him go on extreme calorie restriction, doing cardio five days per week and following a strict vegan diet. Now that he’s established himself as a serious athlete and health enthusiast, we’re curious: What’s his current routine?
After years of focusing on his acting career, Rob has finally returned to his original goal – becoming a well-known football (soccer) player. In order to fuel his muscularity, he has adopted a vegan diet, which eliminates all animal products from his food intake. According to his management, the 32-year-old is currently weighing in at 150 pounds and enjoys the vegetarian menu at restaurants and hotels (he even gave a vegan diet plan a run for its money in Season 2 of The Fink – How to Be the Best Version of Yourself). To get back in shape for the 2018 World Cup, which England will be participating in, he dropped 15 pounds in just four weeks!
This diet change was inspired by his love for animals. He grew up with dogs and horses around the family home and has had a soft spot for animals ever since. Besides, he’s noticed that vegan diets can help athletes perform at their best. After all, the animals whose lives he saved probably wouldn’t have been hurt if their owners had eaten vegan foods instead.
While Rob’s diet is focused on weight loss, his workout regime is designed to build strength and endurance. Because of his love for animals and the desire to protect them, he has turned towards yoga and meditation in order to find peace, relaxation, and mental strength. These days, he often works out early in the morning before heading to the set of his film, Before…After…, which he co-stars in with Kate Bosworth.
In addition to his morning workout, he keeps busy running around London with his dogs, Buster and Mabel. They are his stress relief and company during his off-hours. During his acting career, Rob has appeared in several films, including the Harry Potter series, where he played Harry’s best friend, Ron Weasley. Since their work hours are different, they usually have lunch or dinner together, which is when Rob shares his vegan diet plan with his actor friend. He also models for British fashion designer, Burberry, and has walked the runway twice for their shows.
Since we last saw Rob, his career has taken off. He’s become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after hunkes, starring in several major films, including the highly anticipated Batman vs. Superman. On a more personal note, he’s also starred in several television shows, including the Emmy-winning, The Handmaid’s Tale. In addition, he’s walked the runway for numerous shows including Chanel and Burberry.
