But before that, he played the lead in the 2008 film Twilight, which introduced the world to his character, Edward Cullen. Since then, fans have seen him in many iconic roles, including the highly anticipated re-release of Peter Pan, which hits theaters on October 3rd. In this role, he sports a full-body costume similar to that of Batman: black pants, a grey shirt, and a black leather jacket. Now that the movie is officially out, it’s time to take a closer look at Rob’s Halloween costume.

The Perfect Fit

Rob’s costume is arguably the most perfect fit for him ever. It’s not too big or too small, it’s just right. And just like Edward Cullen, who sported a similar look in Twilight, Rob looks like he has been transformed into a superhero. But what makes his costume even more perfect is that it is almost identical to that of Batman. This may not be a coincidence, as it seems that Rob has always been a fan of the dark knight and hopes to play him one day. Last year, Warner Bros. re-released the infamous 1950s classic, Peter Pan, on Blu-ray and DVD. If you’re a fan of the story, you will most likely want to pick this version up. In it, Peter wears a blue shirt and white pants and is held in the air throughout much of the film by mechanical arms.

Many have speculated that the blue shirt and white pants combination is a tribute to Batman’s famous attire from the ‘40s and ‘50s. In fact, some have gone as far as to claim that the entire look is based on the outfit Batman wore in the 1946 crime drama, The Masked Man. While we may never know for sure, it’s definitely a look that deserves to be recognized.

Whether or not Warner’s choice of shirtless Rob for their latest movie is a coincidence, it seems that the studio was aware of his admiration for Batman and likely wanted to capitalize on it. In 2015, they cast him in the role of Cedric Diggory, the most recent addition to the Harry Potter series. For the most part, Rob keeps his shirt on for the majority of the film. But every once in a while, he will take it off for a moment, as he does in the scene we discussed above. The fans love it when actors and actresses keep their shirt on throughout the whole movie, and it makes them even more attractive.

Since Twilight, Rob has been working hard to prove that he can, in fact, be trusted with his shirt off. After the movie’s success, many fans expected him to be featured in many films with minimal attire. This is probably why he has featured in a handful of highly publicized shirtless scenes. Most recently, he appeared on the cover of British GQ with absolutely no shirt on. In the interview, he spoke about how he keeps fit while filming these intense action sequences:

“It’s Something I’ve Always Wanted To Try. I Try To Keep My Body In Great Shape. I Train A Lot. I Count Myself As One Of The FEW Modern Actors Who Actually Put In The Hard Work.”

As you can see, Rob makes it a habit to exercise and eat healthy. This is likely the reason why he has been able to maintain such a perfect physique. When he isn’t working or eating, he is most likely working out. And when he is done training for a film, he tends to look for sports activities to keep himself in good shape. Since he has been in a lot of demand, it’s no surprise that he has been able to keep his body in such amazing condition. Unfortunately for his male fans, it seems that Rob is currently on a break from filming. But even though he may not be in front of the camera right now, that doesn’t mean he isn’t still working hard to prove that he can still deliver quality performances.
